Jersey City was inhospitable enough to this duo that I doubt the production company has the incentive to portray us in a positive light. Don't be surprised if every exterior shot features Paco and Taco and the 99-cent stores.

Whether it is an improving economy, or the Buzz from the show... Grove Street definitely feels a bit more action packed.

House sales for 07302 also seem to have stabalized...

And no one is any worse for wear. Go figure. It's like when Howard Stern was on the radio in NY and the people that liked him listened for an hour. And the people that didn't like him listened for two. If you don't like somebody don't talk about them. And if you HATE somebody well then I guess go on to an online forum and rant.

This woman sounds like a real peach... what a fool:

"I'm happy that they're leaving," said Linda Jameson, who stopped by the house to check out the stars. "They didn't bother me much, but at least it's one less thing to worry about."

She said filming didn't interrupt downtown too much, but when production was happening, it was clear that they were out of their element.

"I don't have to worry about being stopped when they're filming or worry about what restaurants to go to in case they are there," she said.

Before their emotional goodbye, leaving to go to the Westin Hotel, the two walked down Mercer Street to thank neighbors with cookies and oranges.

But only four people answered - two people slammed the door in their face, and one was planted by the production team.

Pretty much sums up this crap show.

Filming wraps up for Snooki, JWoww spinoff

Monday, March 26, 2012, 6:05 PM
By Stephanie Musat/ For The Jersey Journal

With a hug goodbye and the reminder of Snooki's pending child, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley got into their own cars and drove away from their Mercer Street home to end their spin-off filming, closing five weeks of production that took over downtown Jersey City.

"Don't forget I'm pregnant," Snooki yelled to JWoww, before she climbed into her Cadillac and drove away from a film crew taping her exit to end the show.

Before their emotional goodbye, leaving to go to the Westin Hotel, the two walked down Mercer Street to thank neighbors with cookies and oranges.

But only four people answered - two people slammed the door in their face, and one was planted by the production team.

Even if they slammed the door, Snooki replied with an upbeat "Love You," before shoving a cookie through the mail slot and walking to the next door.

Earlier in the day, the boyfriends - Jionni LaValle and Roger Matthews - loaded cars with animal print suitcases and Snooki's favorite alligator. The couples began playing tricks on each other, with LaValle pouring water out of their window onto Matthews.

You might still see production teams around town, as their filming permit goes through next week.

Despite the "annoyance" she said she will tune into the show when it airs on MTV to see how they portray Jersey City.

There was the biggest crowd outside the house today besides the first week of filming, as people took out their camera phones to catch the duo and their significant others as they packed their cars before leaving.

"I wanted to get a picture before they leave," said Nicholas Remin. "It's cool they spent some time here, it gives some place else in New Jersey exposure. But I don't think they liked it very much."

He said he thinks the show will be boring, mostly because there isn't a lot of action in Jersey City. He said the city was a poor choice for the spin-off because it's not "very lively," but is still excited to tune in.

"My town will be on television," he said. "I can say I went to that restaurant or that bar. That's pretty cool."

Why--is reality TV is getting in the way of good programming??

I don?t see any reason to expect this show to be much worse than the evening news or any formulaic sitcom or drama. Commercial networks' mainstay has long been simpleton-grade programming no matter the format because it attracts and pacifies the largest number of viewers in order to subject them to advertising. It would be stupidly counterproductive to the networks? goals if they alienated would-be consumers with programming that makes them think. There?s no ?win-win? scenario for commercial television, it?s supposed to be junk food for the brain. That?s like pretending there?s a win-win scenario for casino gambling.

MTV should have done this in the 80's and had Van Halen live in town for a week, then it would?ve been a party town. Especially the heights were all the pretty bonde and brunette chicks with spandex and big hair were sitting on Pershing field park wall along Central ave. Waiting to get hit on.

Party town? LMAO....this town is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Maybe when this rail road piece comes out and makes us more of a laughing stock to the rest of the world (not just NYC), then things might get done around here.

Right? I mean, they usually don't even have to wave.
Tonight, every car parked in the red at the intersection of 1st and Erie got a ticket, except the big SUV that was nearly blocking the crosswalk. It had a police sticker on the windshield.

You won?t be seeing her face on a Post Office wall any time soon, we imagine, but Jenni ?JWoww? Farley has run afoul of the law in Jersey City while shooting her ?Jersey Shore? spin-off show.

Farley and her co-star Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi left their Mercer Street digs on Wednesday to visit Crystal Sun Nail & Spa at the corner of Warren and Essex streets. But instead of finding a legit parking spot, Farley parked her BMW a few feet from a fire hydrant, police said.

The Jersey City Independent website reported that when a Jersey City Parking Authority enforcement officer moved to ticket the vehicle, the enforcement officer was initially waved away by a Jersey City police officer.

But law and order prevailed and JWoww received a ticket.

According to the Jersey City Municipal Court Violations Bureau, a ticket for parking too close to a fire hydrant carries a $54 fine.

It was a bad day all around for JWoww. TMZ reported that she has been slapped with a $150,000 lawsuit from her former landlord for allowing 495 Productions to film segments of the first season of ?Jersey Shore? in her Long Island home.

Landlord Stuart Levine said he was not told about the filming, and was not given the option to say whether or not filming could take place on one of his properties.

In the meantime, Snooki is making news by the minute.

She revealed this week that she is 15 weeks pregnant and got engaged to her boyfriend and father of the baby, Jionni LaValle, at the W Hotel in Hoboken on Valentine?s Day.

So the cop WAIVED away the the Parking Enforcement like they should not get tickets???

WTF

On Feb. 8, there was a crime rally at City Hall in Jersey City. Of course, City Council members were present and nearly 100 residents. The big question is where was Mayor Healy? As I walked into City Hall, I saw Fox 5 News outside. I went over to talk to the TV news crew to ask them were they ready for the rally and they told me they were there for the "Jersey Shore" story. I couldn't believe what they said.

Celebrity stories are more important than the safety of Jersey City residents. It made no sense to me. But what was more interesting was I found out Mayor Healy did an interview addressing the "Jersey Shore" story. He said he would love to see them come to Jersey City. If he can interview about a story like that but not show up to a City Council meeting to address the public about the ongoing crime issue, he needs to step down.

Also if the show does come to Jersey City, it means more police will be focused on them, which will take more eyes away from the rest of the city. If the mayor can't control crime now, what makes you think he can control it with a popular TV show.
Mayor Healy, do you have any common sense?
