Snooki & JWoww' apartment in Jersey City goes up for rent, only $12,000 a month$12,000.00 a month on Grove Street.

So before the show/during filming, everyone was going crazy over how it was going to destroy Jersey City. Now people are upset because they don't mention Jersey City ENOUGH!!!???

(I don’t think this JJ person was watching the same show as me. She must be jealous of Snooki. Or better yet a Snooki want-a-be. After all she writes/talks just like Snooki and JWow…question for you Stephanie where can I buy a Sear-sucker blazer?) ( People who live in the burbs or sticks refer to any place with a few tall buildings outside of the burbs or sticks as “the city”. You come across as a real “city-slicker” to me …err..wait a real NYC-slicker…Union City-slicker….Jersey City-slicker.)

Snooki and JWoww move to "the city" in pilot of reality show filmed in Jersey City

The long-awaited series starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley chronicling their polarizing time in Jersey City aired Thursday night without any real mention of the city as the duo decided it was time to move out of mom and dad's and away from their boyfriends to have a last hoorah together.

They're best friends, if you didn't know. They said it multiple times throughout the episode – hence prompting them to find a place to live in "the city," as they referred to their new home. Which city - New York City, Jersey City, Union City? Those outside Hudson County may never know.

But alas, it is in fact Jersey City where they spent five weeks in March and April filming the aptly-titled "Snooki and JWoww" - despite the fact that the girls only mention the full city's name once through the 30-minute pilot episode, with a brief shot of the "Welcome to Jersey City" sign by the Holland Tunnel gracing b-role.

Best Line from Episode One: “Can you not wipe your vagina on my bagel?” delivered completely deadpan by Nicole in front of handsome real estate agent.

Mystery Guest: Shirtless old man peering out of window (who had to have signed a release for this appearance.)

Recognizable locations: Row houses on Hampton Court, deliberately rundown apartment buildings, Mercer Street.

Most Surprising Reveal: Real estate agent lives in Greenville. Jenni suggests apartment-hunting there.

Not true.. I actually watched that garbage.

There was definitely JC filming in the first show as they were "house hunting" to find a new place to move in together and sign a lease (didn't know you could sign a 4 week lease). They hung out on the stoop of a place on Wayne St., and looked at some places in Greenville before deciding that the place that the production company secured months in advance on Mercer St. was for them.

You mean we made it to the next morning without Jersey City burning to the ground after airing this show? I thought the world would've stopped at 10pm last night.

Nothing in this first show is filmed in Jersey City; at the end there is a preview that indicates show 2 will start the Jersey City scenes. Stay tuned.

Saw Good Morning America this morning and Snookie and J-Wow couldn't have been more complimentary about JC. I have a feeling that the city is going to be shown in a pretty positive light and they'll be making fun of themselves more than anything.

Just heard that Grace from Sushi Tango and Celeste from Made With Love Bakery & Cafe are hosting a "Snooki & JWOWW" premiere episode viewing party at Sushi Tango's bar on Jersey Avenue.

It's on Thursday, June 21, it's open to everyone and the show starts at 10pm.

I hope to swing by to view the antics and to see how Jersey City is portrayed if I'm not stuck at work too late.

(I'm sure other JC venues who will be having viewing parties as well, but I'll be heading Sushi Tango since I dig the place and it's just around the corner from my apartment.)

I'm surprised no one has posted yet - the show begins airing next Thursday at 10pm.

In case you don't feel like watching: Not much of JC to see in the 2-minute trailer. A few "stoop" shots of brownstones and lots of interiors at their firehouse apartment. Some quick sets at K9dergarten. And plenty of pics of the Goldman Sachs building used as a phallic backdrop for the interview scenes.

ummm i've actually never watched jersey shore...but i just watched the jc trailer and they are actually kind of funny...(should i not be saying that??)

The trailer really makes JC look interesting. Nice back ground of JC. I think the shop/restaurant owners were foolish for not letting them shoot in their places of business. They would have had millions of eyes on their places. Possibly some rich dude saying he wanted to franchise their place across the country. You never know.
