Tried both of their wing styles last night while watching the game: asian bbq and buffalo. We liked the more standard buffalo better as the bbq was a little too sweet. Both were big, juicy, and meaty though. Will be going back for more!

Hey we were there at the same time. Food was good, drink was good, service was a little slow.

Early, 6-7, we had tickets to the penultimate performance of La Bete. Dinner was great, the show a little disappointing. I can see why it was closing.

We used a groupon there last night, our 1st time there since the new owners. Food was great, we shared a filling appetizer of huge pirogi, the lady had fish tacos w a salad and I had ribs that were falling off the bone. The sauce was tasty but a little too sweet and heavily laid on for me, I'd get it on the side next time.

They used to have a nice veggie burger and the dropped that. I guess it didn't have enough demand, but you'd think that a restaurant like that in a market like this would keep it on the menu.

They put bacon in too many things -- it's cheating, I think. Show me what the chef can really do with his/her ingredients. If I cooked my shoe with bacon, it would taste good.

As for service -- I arrived 10 minutes before the 'dinner menu' was available. I told the server I was craving pasta (which wasn't on the lunch menu). Instead of suggesting I wait a few minutes until it was 5:00, when I could order a pasta dish, he told me I could probably find some somewhere else. SERIOUSLY.

Yep I was wrong. The wings are now $8. I'll give them another try - but I stand by what I posted, last summer they were among the worst I had ever tasted.

Seriously - do a taste test on your food - particularly your wings. Go buy some frozen microwaveable Tyson buffalo wings at the local Shoprite or A&P. The Tyson wings get a 6 out of 10 for me compared to the 1 or 2 out of ten for the Hamilton wings.

In fact, fresh chicken wings are so cheap - you could probably hand out free fresh wings to customers and still make a profit on the drinks. Or stick with your $7 charge on your menu - I'd bet noone orders them twice.

What are you talking about? Must have had a bad batch because I get their wings at least twice a week an they're awesome! I especially recommend them in tandem with their football specials - $3 craft beers + $4 buffalo wings = me very happy!

The few times I recently visited the place over the summer, the wings were definitely pre-cooked then reheated. The worst wings I've ever tasted in JC. Which is a huge shame since most of the other items on their menu were excellent.

The last time I went, I was with an old friend, and we wanted to get a drink to catch up. The place was empty, and it was early evening. We sat at a small table. The waitress couldn't wait to get us out of there. She wasn't at all rude--she just kept coming over every five minutes or so to see if we wanted more drinks or if she could bring the check. I think we spent 35 minutes total there.

That was about three months ago, and I haven't gone back since.

I just don't get this place. I had a good burger at the bar a couple of weeks ago. This past Sunday a bunch of us trek through the snow to have some wings a nd drinks. Cocktails were so-so. Buffalo wings were not fresh and seemed like they were re-heated. The nachos were a joke. And the hot chocolate was the worst I ever tasted. I sent it back once (I'm not a send-it-back kinda guy) and it came back the same exact way. It tasted like water with a little bit of cocoa in it. I really believe that this place is a great addition to Hamilton Park, but they really need to get their act together. It's almost like they don't care or have such poor quality control that half the food comes out crapy. If there is anyone from the HI reading this pls realize that alot of people in the neighboorhood want you to step up your game.

Some of the food is really good, some is so-so. Some of the prices are decent, some are kind of ridiculous. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it sucks. Zero consistency.
It's nice to have a pleasant place in the neighborhood to go to, but if it was gone it wouldn't ruin my day.

went to hamilton inn for third time or so saturday night (previous outings were mostly average) and had a very nice meal. mussels were very tasty with a nice little bite in the broth and companion's ravioli was fantastic. again nice spice. ravioli was a little pricey ($22) but worth it. woman who waited on us was also good -- casually professional. 1 drink and dish each for about $60 w/ tip.

i have been going to the inn perhaps once a week for the last two months ... there are certainly operational problems both with the wait staff and the kitchen ...

one time, we waited 45 minutes for dinner in an otherwise not particularly full restaurant ... i reminded the waiter that i actually had a plane to catch ... still it took them 20 minutes to get things out ... they were quite lackadaisical in their approach to the problem and its resolution ...

another time, out of the four of us, two got ***completely*** wrong orders ... a stunning accomplishment ... i have not seen that waiter since ... praise the owners ...

perhaps it is the summer ... perhaps they do not --- have to --- care ....

the waiters tend to prefer to congregate around the bar by the coffee makers instead of walking around to ensure that all is working smoothly ...

Went again this past Sunday night. I ordered a dinner salad and salmon for dinner - my partner ordered a large dinner salad. Wine arrived and was very warm. ( Wine on past visits has been great!). Sat. Continued to sit. I was really hungry and I could taste that wonderful bread that they serve with the olive oil. Sat some more. Server brings out two salads - correct salad for my partner - I get a salad with salmon on it. I note the error ( no big deal - we all make them in life). Server kinda tells me that's what I ordered! I correct him - he continues to tell me 'well that's what I heard'. I tell him he made an error. He tells me a second time "that's what I heard". I explain to him nicely " I'm afraid you heard incorrectly". He says ok - and then I ask him for some of the wonderful bread and oil that is served. He tells me they ran out. I tell him that I was really looking forward to it. He tells me he will try to 'scrounge something up'. There was none. So - okay - okay - we really like this place, but just not this time! So I eat the small dinner salad as my partner eats his dinner salad- then I sat and ate the salmon. We got a teeny tiny sliver of Key Lime pie to go for the mistake. We still really like this place though - the atmosphere and the food ( yes, it is a tad overpriced, but it is good and we love the location). So - we will be back. We all can have a bad day. Hey Hamilton - don't run out of bread on Sundays by 7pm please!

Went last Saturday for the 2nd time (first was a month after it opened).

Food was still great and the service was still lacking.
2 girls next to us we even laughing about it and clapping their hands over their heads to get the waiter's attention.

We still left 15 percent tip (instead of the usual 20) cause you never know - could be the kitchen's fault or someone calling in sick.

Has anyone else noticed improvements to the service? Not that it would necessarily keep from from going but I would know what to expect.

We go here fairly often and it's getting better everytime. A few items to note in case the owners are reading:

-Need to have A/C on HIGH on hot days!
-Ensure staff knows all specials and menu items
-keep the music down so people can still have a conversation (love the DJ tho - he's great).

Highly recommend this place and yes they do have agreat beer selection.

I like the atmosphere here and my boyfriend likes the fries and burger but I have tried to order the omelette 3 times now and been told it's not available. They should buy some eggs or remove it from the menu. This kind of stuff should not be happening with a new restaurant. I almost ordered the crabcake appetizer but the waiter warned me that it was a very small portion for $12.00 and that I would probably be disappointed. Again, make the crabcakes a little bigger so the staff doesn't have to apologize for them.

My roommate and I randomly drove past this place last Sunday and decided to stop in... what a find!! The decor reminds me of Lighthorse, but a little more welcoming. Seems like the kind of place you'd want to grab a beer and food after work.
Both the burger and veggie burger were really good, and the fries were awesome... had great seasoning. For $10 each, thats not a bad deal at all. Plus they had $3 drinks for bruch, so we really lucked out.

I actually find this place to be an incredible transformation.

It was an *ok* place that went downhill steadily over 2 years under the last owner - to the point that i doubt many people would have seen it as a going concern to....now...it's busy on a friday lunchtime!
(There's not than much office traffic nearby so that IS remarkable!).

The food is good, if a bit pricey, but the place seems busy after 3-4 months and that must be a good sign and...it's good.

I've enjoyed a good meal or 3 there recently.

Good luck to them...definitely worth a visit.

We ate here last night, and my wife and I both liked the menu - lots of options, thought the food was good and thought the prices were reasonable - especially for the apps and sandwiches.
