No. You can buy the 10 ride package but there is no discount anymore. It's $21

My roommate and I randomly drove past this place last Sunday and decided to stop in... what a find!! The decor reminds me of Lighthorse, but a little more welcoming. Seems like the kind of place you'd want to grab a beer and food after work.
Both the burger and veggie burger were really good, and the fries were awesome... had great seasoning. For $10 each, thats not a bad deal at all. Plus they had $3 drinks for bruch, so we really lucked out.

When did you guys go? The first time I went was last week, and the single scoop portion was totally reasonable. Small, but worth it. When I went today it was so tiny it seemed like a joke.
There was a girl behind us who asked for two scoops.. and when the server went to hand her the cup, the customer said that she wanted two scoops, not one. The server then filled more so the cup was almost full. I'm not sure if they did it because they customer looked at them like they were crazy when they tried to pass off a half filled small cup as 'two scoops', or if they genuinely didn't hear her.

Sorry for all the info... I just really want to love this place!! I hope it was just a mishap today and this isn't the standard going forward.

Ok, I hate to say this after my previous rave review... but I am having serious second thoughts about this place. The gelato is awesome, not doubt about that... but they have got to be insane to charge 3.50 for about 3 bites of gelato. I'm not even kidding! I totally understand smaller portions, since it seems to be a high quality product. But are they nuts?? I swear the amount I got was about 1/8 cup, and that is being generous. At first I thought it was just my particular server that was doing some major skimping, but my roommate had a different person and got even less than I did!

Overall, I really hope Tommy gets a grip on this issue. I want to give them my business, but I just think its a little ridiculous.

A moderately small portion for $3.50? Yes, count me in. This miniscule taste test portion? Pass.

Just got back from this place, and I'm impressed! The shop itself is really charming and the garden area seems like a great spot to hang out. Both the manager and the owner were super friendly and excited to talk to the customers.
Apparantly, the gelato cooler broke this afternoon, so it was starting to melt by the time we got there at 9:30. Still, we tried almost all the flavors and they were amazing- especially the coconut curry and tiramisu. And yes, the manager said they do make them all in house. Oh, and she said they also make there own mozzerella.. interesting!

I'm really excited that this place opened, and I hope they get a lot of support from the community. I'm planning to go back for lunch tomorrow to try a panini.

Do any of the hotels in the area sell day passes for access to their pool?

I had the red and white pizza from PH Brick Oven tonight... I used to be a huge fan, but I feel like it's gone down hill in the past few months. The white pizza was totally dry. Next time I'm ordering from John's.

I thought this place was out of business? Every single time I walk by, it's closed. I wanted to go for brunch a few Sunday's ago.. but once again it was closed. What's the deal?

Ditto on Marin and Grand.... I held my breath as I drove through it. Really surprised I didn't stall out.

Does this kind of rain usually cause problems with the sewars? I live in a basement apartment, and just a few months ago our bathrooms flooded with sewage after a main line backed up. It was horrific. I don't know what I'd do if it happened again...

There is still a small precinct in the mall. The security guards should have called as soon as they saw it happening.

I work part time at this mall, and it really is bad. I can't tell you how many fights I've seen. One today, in fact. And the amount of repeat theft is insane. There are regulars who literally just wander around the mall looking for a target.

From what I hear, the mall has come a long way from what it used to be.. but it still has a long way to go.

Funny, I'm wondering where any guys under 35 go.

Totally depends on the night, but I've seen good crowds at Iron Monkey and Merchant.

Sorry, but I think Komegashi is totally overrated. The sushi is decent, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. I'll give Honshu Lounge a try

Like others said, Legal Grounds on Grand is great. It has a nice warm, neighborly vibe and is quiet enough for studying. I got a sandwich there for the first time today, and it was awesome.. the 101er. Yum!

first the impossible 100 beer contest.. and now drop your girlfriend off and leave night?? seriously, you need to hire a marketing/pr person. iron monkey is a cool spot, but you're going to end up losing business with these ridiculous (and morally questionable) ploys. it makes me not want to go, and i already like the place. i promise you won't be drawing in new customers, you'll be losing the ones you already have.

Ok, I've always made fun of the Golden Cicada because it looks terrifying from the outside. But last night, my roommate and I finally decided to go in and it was actually pretty cool. It definitely wasn't hoppin, but there were some other people our age at the bar who were friendly. And the owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Oh and the people next to us were raving about the pork dumplings.

I totally wrote this place off at first, but I'm glad I gave it a try. I wouldn't call it a singles bar either, but it's a very welcoming little place with friendly people. Try it.

What makes you think they are 'gangbangers'? I was there a few days ago and someone asked me to buy a candy bar. I said no thanks, and they didn't hassle me at all. I would guess that if it was any sort of shady business, the management at target would be all over it. Next time I go, I'll ask what charity it's for.

I'm running into the same problem, and I'm a single female. Yes, its mostly men out.. but its usually older men. I don't know if this is just the case in the Paulus Hook area, or everywhere. I just want to find a place with a late 20's, early 30's crowd. I'm new to JC, so maybe I'm not going to the right spots.
