MAMARAMA is astonishing.
My friends and I are obsessed with it.
The over-intellectualizing of even the most basic aspects of motherhood are all well and good for the small percentage of those who have time to stop and think about them.

How have hard pressed working mothers and poor people with large broods survived without this show? Instinct, tradition, and family. Not 3 wheeled strollers, prenatal yoga, and baby einstein dvds.

I was intrigued enough to explore her Vlogs (basically her public access show mixed in with her personal life).
The presentation style is compelling, this woman uses more hand gestures than an Italian traffic policeman and cannot let her guests speak without nodding her head in dumb acquiescence.
As a woman who has worked in network television I can tell you that Mamarama has steep road to climb.

Mrasg1, are you trying to say you saw ZZ Top? Or are you just being a big bore? Maybe we are all tools for being impressed with celebrity, but whatever -- get off this thread if you're bored by our discussion.

Mamarama, you are so beautiful. You deserve a network show.

Julie Stiles shot an indy film at Seton Hall Law School in Nwk, so maybe she considers herself an honorary Jersey Girl? I doubt it, though, because she was born in NYC.

Also, her first performance role was with New York's La MaMa Theatre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Stiles), which I argue evidences a connection (however tenuous) to the Stiles and Mararama sightings.

Seriously, Jayne, work on that network show.

no idea about that celebrity. explanation might be in order. I did see a dog on the playground, dog in the pet free area and everyone having an amazingly good time. Our park turned out GREAT! best in the city by far and worth the wait. Now don't mess it up.

I just walked through the park (it looks fantastic by the way) and I passed Mamarama. It was really cool being able to see her in person. She was on the phone so I didn't want to bother her but my fiancee and I love her TV show.

Shia LaBeouf spent his Saturday afternoon in Jersey City filming for the upcoming Oliver Stone flick, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.

And Shia was looking pretty damn seks!

If only LaDouche always dressed like this!

Stone is actually currently working on a sequel to Wall Street. I wouldn't be surprised to find him filming on this side of the river.

I'm pretty sure she grew up in Nutley, NJ.

I've lived in Jersey city all my life and not once have i had a celebrity sightings. I go to NYC and almost everyday I see 'em. Go figure.

Elizabeth II was spotted shopping for Y-fronts for Pillip at Grace Brothers (next to Kohl's.)

Somebody ask Jon Stewart if the teenagers pulled the fire alarm in the movie theatre as they are want to do every three days.

I've seen Patrice O'Neil downtown several times, but (a) he's from JC and (b) many people reading this post may likely ask, "who the ___ is Patrice O'Neil ??"

My band played with the Honey Brothers at Maxwells a few years back. They were pretty nice guys. I felt bad for Adrian because girls were trying to take pictures of him peeing in that tiny bathroom. Wait a minute...I don't feel bad, I am jealous! haha

I also heard Danny Glover was spotted at Bar Majestic last night...don't know if it's true.
