Plumbing issue!

Happy New Year all.

When I run the washing machine in my house, the tub in basement gets water and debris. Toilet in basement where washer and tub are bubbles and fills up with same debris. This happens but to a much less degree when shower upstairs is on.

Does anyone know what this could be caused by? Also any recommendations on who to call that is reliable and honest?

Thanks,

This is probably a stupid question, but why would Two Boots oppose a high-rise in the neighborhood for business reasons? Wouldn't more people (many without cars) be good for their business?

Hi! I had to register to express my frustration at Two Boots. I love their pizza, but if the original post reflects the opinions of their owners, I'll be boycotting that establishment! I love Jersey City, and it's entering an exciting new phase with all these developments. It's only getting better, and I will not support a business actively standing in the way of making a better city for selfish or misguided reasons.

And wouldn't a responsible business owner that relies on street traffic be supportive of new high incomer earners living in the neighborhood? Their position shows an anti city building bias. Where would Two Boots be had there been no Jersey City renaissance or development around Grove.

I say bring on the tower, and it's a shame it's not of higher density. What really matters is the design of the building, so it fits into the neighborhood at street level, especially the bottom six floors. I think I read that this building which subsequently approved, which is great news and means our city council doesn't pander to a minority of illogical loud mouths.

Don't worry Two Boots, this new business will probably increase your bottom line, in-spite of your anti-city building attitude.

Two Boots hates food trucks also!

Royal? I went through a few companies till I called up Royal and they were the best. They fixed an intermittent HVAC problem that had eluded the other guys for weeks. Royal figured it out in 5 min and fixed it at a very reasonable cost.

Hi everyone,

Central air is on the fritz. Climbed on roof

on and air out of vents. Just not cold air!
Anybody recommend an honest and fair

Thanks!

Jersey City mail delivery screw ups.
#26
Home away from home
Home away from home

My neighbors address is the same as mine
but with an extra 1/2.

So if I was 222, they're 222 1/2.
This has caused in the past our mail being
delivered to them or not delivered etc.
And now recently my Wife ordered a product online.
It never was delivered. But when we tracked the
USPS tracking # it shows delivered. Was not
in vestibule next door and neighbor said
she didn't have it and vendor charged us.
My Wife was home all day that day as well,
and nobody rang our buzzer. And nothing was
left.
This is really annoying. I filed a complaint
with USPS and they just say it was delivered.
And good luck trying to reach a human being
at the Montgomery Street branch. It's an
automated message sending you to federal
Customer Service. This is infuriating. I've
never had this degree of problems with mail
delivery like this other then since we moved
to JC.

Does anyone have the name and phone number
of the postmaster, or Supervisor?
I'm going to copy this and send to Mayor Fulop
and Candace Osbourne.

Thanks everyone!

I don't like the coffe bar. $2.00 for
a dinky cup and it's Iily.
And the fact that they have these ginormous
Iily cans for product placement on the shelves
rubs me the wrong way. I'll get coffe next door
at Bar 9.
The rest of the place didn't bowl me over either.
But, that's my opinion.

Put a goddamn protective scaffolding up like
they do in NYC.
You have to cross Columbus to walk as
they closed the sidewalk off.
Total bullshit.
