I was on the train with him today. Tangerine with white hat and shoes. Like an orange popsicle. Clothes don't bear scrutiny. Looks like they are home made - puckered seams, unlined jacket, etc. But whatever - the word resplendent is still appropriate.

His name is Elijah, he's not a pimp, and he's a very pleasant guy. Though what he does with his time, aside from striding about looking magnificent and going to church, seems to be somewhat mysterious; he often speaks in metaphor.

The bad news is, I was so excited, I yelled out, "Oh my God, I've finally seen the Jersey City pimp!"

To which my sweet little innocent son chirped from the back of our car, "Mama, what's a pimp?"

Hilarity ensues.

Sorry, no photo - but damn, that man is truly majestic.

He is a majestic vision indeed. Always brings a smile to your face & keeps you wondering where does he get those outfits. Stop & say hello to him, he has always been a gentleman. He is more than happy to have his picture taken & has a pleasant word for all.

A Jersey City treasure

It never ceases to amaze me how user 1111 is always the first to jump in to.be critical of others. He/ she must be perfect. In my defense, I have never seen Teddy; and the "Pimp" was pointed out to me by my girlfriend. I had no idea that his real name was "the Pimp" it's not how people talk where I come from. Therefore, when people were talking about Teddy and."the Pimp" in the same thread I assumed they were the same person. So, for user 1111 and his buddy 12345 to then jump in and compare me with the moronic TV Hollywood reporter who confused two very famous African-American actors is more than damn insulting to me. You do like to stir it up don't you? Please explain to your two friends that YOU thought that I thought they were the same person.

If he really was concerned and actually gave a rat's arse about the poor, perhaps he should sell his mink coat to help raise the funds. If you want to help the poor, give it to the least corrupt organization that uses most of the funds to actually help the poor and not line the administrator's pockets; especially pink pockets.

Yeah, no kidding! The JC pimp is NOT the same as PATH Teddy!! These are two completely different individuals. But, both are JC gems on their own rights.

Those pictures are not the Teddy I've encountered. The PATH Teddy looks pretty crappy and I think he inherited Moms Mabley's false teeth, God Rest Her Soul.

First you need to get the photo onto the internet; photobucket, imgur.com facebook, etc.

EXAMPLE: This is the URL of a photo, i got the URL by right clicking the image, looking at the Properties, and using copy and paste: The image URL will end in .jpg or .png
http://jclist.com/images/myimages/lawyer.jpg

Now I must add the "code" to make the image display:
[img]  before the URL [/imgafter without spaces =      [img]http://jclist.com/images/myimages/lawyer.jpg[/img]

This is the final result:
Resized Image

THE EASY WAY TO ADD THE CODE:
Highlight the image URL and click the 3rd button to the right of the the word "Message" above the text editor.

For more information on reading and writing computer CODE and why it is important visit http://code.org and watch the video.

It's easy to overlook when your eye is taking in the glory of the entire ensamble but next time you see our hero check out his footwear. My feet could never hope to be so well shod, even if I lived to be 100. I just don't have that much... that much.......there is no word in English.

I'm sorry - which one is the Pimp?

LMAO - just a joke - I know Steven, just couldn't resist.
