You know you?re swimming in shallow water when you choose to crap all over a franchise like Chipotle, which makes fresh healthy food, while praising a place that makes fried chicken simply because the owner of Chick-Fil-A hates gay people? Chipotle?s E. coli problem is mostly related to its serving of fresh vegetables. No, you aren?t likely to get E. coli at Chick-Fil-A, just a higher risk of diabetes. Quote:
Pretty funny review to read... Personally, I prefer somewhere in the middle. If I do go fast food, it certainly isn?t Chick-Fil-A. This isn?t due to politics, though having the owner be a renowned bigot doesn?t help, it is simply due to my dislike of fried chicken. Panera is a fantastic option! Quote:
Were you born yesterday?! Just about every restaurant has gone through an outbreak of E. coli at some point. Quote:
Considering one of those links is from a website by a guy that has ties to Monsanto... Organic food isn?t the end-all-be-all, but to claim that it is going to make you sick is a bit severe.

Considering what happened at Chipolte hasn't happened anywhere else, lmao right back at you. And considering their continued explosive popularity at a time when many fast food chains are declining, I'm sure the owners and franchisees would also have a good chuckle if they heard your sentiments.

looks, not tastes. way to read the review.
also lmao (at you, not with you) if you think what happened to chipotle can't happen at chikfila and their organic is any healthier (minus the ecoli) then the other.

Of course, you can drop $3,000 for a two star meal at Per Se, with a dish that tastes like bong water!
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wor ... imes-review-a6810426.html I'll be enjoying a Chick Fil A sandwich later from their location in Union on RT22.

Chick-fil-A is going organic.
No, not "organic" like Chipolte where you'll get infected with E. coli, but healthy organic. Just when you think they can't get even more popular... http://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/14/chick- ... s-first-organic-item.html

Doesn't look like they were ordered closed by the health department, just cited for mundane things so they voluntarily closed to address them.
Also, with the line for their NYC location running halfway down the block most days, I doubt anyone has actually gotten sick. Unlike "healthy" chains like Chipolte lol.

Love it or hate it, Chick-fil-A's first standalone restaurant in NYC has attracted long lines of hungry New Yorkers since it opened last fall. But you won't see anyone queuing up for that crispy goodness on Monday, because the outpost remains closed after a recent city health inspection discovered several major violations. More

A side note: For anyone who suffers from severe allergies, I highly recommend this book: Wildlife of Our Bodies The subject is evolutionary biology. A section of the book is dedicated to the rise of severe allergies (a modern day problem) and theories to their causes. Lots of facts and studies referenced, including experimental treatments for severe asthma sufferers that have a high success rate. It is an easy book to read as well.

Haven't been the mall in a while so can't tell how good it is, but last week I stopped in at the nyc location and the spicy chicken was delicious.

There was a conga line of cars through the parking lot for the drive-thru of the Chick fil A on RT22 yesterday at 11AM. They're sure not hurting for business.

No research required. If the Chick Fil A chief executive, Dan Cathy, hadn't been as dumb as a sack of hammers and hadn't blabbed about gay folks on talk radio, no one would have necessarily known. It was a self-inflicted wound. Cathy created his own controversy. Now they say they are not going to talk about it anymore. I see no need to make Cathy and his ilk any richer, so I don't plan to buy their overrated sandwiches.

If you have sales of $100,000 and end up with profits of $40,000, Chick Fil A is taking $15,000 + another $20,000, so 87.5% of your profits. Not questioning the merits of the deal, just pointing out the bad math by the writer.

Seriously, who has the time to do this research. I eat chicken and rice, falafel sandwiches, gyros at least twice a week. Maybe some of that $ goes to ISIS, but the food is too delicious to boycott.

Interesting, thanks for the link! Since Whole Foods is run by a Buddhist, and Timberland has a Jewish CEO who cut ties with a Chinese factory for exploiting their workers, I'll continue to patronize them. I'm surprised about Forever21 - I shop there and I've never noticed the Bible verse before... Most of the others I've never heard of (including Chick-Fil-A, since I don't eat fast food) they seem to be in middle-America.

Love Popeyes. I started eating Popeyes fried chicken when it was only available in New Orleans.
As I noted before, there are many good alternatives to supporting a rich bigot.
