Nonsense. Everybody (except for midwesterns, apparently) knows that Texas BBQ (smoked, dry rub) is much, much better than KC style. Second best: North Carolina BBQ, with that awesome vinegar based sauce.

In the past, and maybe still, there was an organization called SALAMAPO - (as I recall) - maybe it owns the block or the owners of the houses were shareholders (like a co-op). SAndlewood,LAurel,MAple and POplar. In any case, the only thing that block has going for it, from my POV, is that it is low rise. The Marin side is always filthy. This, plus rumors that Villa Borinquen might get redeveloped poses a serious threat to another breach in the Marin high-rise limit.

Have not checked, but rumor mill has it that the case file contains several witness statements from a variety of JC business owners that have faced similar "obstructions" as well as "deals/concessions" some business owners had to make to pass inspections.

Am surprised that the settlement was not picked up by any news outlet.

Atomic wings is not a representative example, he was Razzolied. just like Torico. Razzoli changed the requirements with each inspection, just to wear down the property owner. Hopefully the building dept behaves better now.
