thedailyshow@comedycentral.com It does seem like a no-brainer for The Jon Stewart Show. There is so much he and his crew could work with. Love to get some good local nightly news coverage too since a great many of the 40+ age voters will likely tune in to one of those stations.

Where are the big nightly news crews to really send this story over the edge? It's so ripe with intrigue, any nightly news station in NJ could easily lead in with this. The ratings would be amazing. It really has everything our society seeks out for their entertainment needs: Sensationalism Polarizing political figure with surprising new damning revelation Admitting to something he had previously never mentioned Fast approaching election Insensitive ethnicity issues Drunkard with admitted issues with alcohol Nakedness with a photo to prove it Filthy, lewd acts with minors What are they waiting for!!!

First off, I don?t believe Healy?s new story on the events of the day. I also don?t really care. I don?t think the image shows whether the person is competent or not in running JC. What the image does show is that he is an embarrassing public figure that the city would be better off without. This becomes doubly so with Fulop being the competition.
What I don?t understand with the latest story is why it was given. Is there a need to explain it now while there wasn?t one years ago? Did they test this story with a select audience and it was well received as an explanation? It really doesn?t make sense. I also don?t understand how a Hispanic person is offended. Healy wasn?t saying every Hispanic girl rips off the clothes of old fat white men. He was saying it was three of them. I?m more offended that the guy couldn?t come up with a believable excuse.

The photo is on JCLIST threads unedited... if you remember that election itself was a scandal with the photo and convicted or future convicted criminals all running. As an interloper 9 months new to Jersey City, that election was about temporarily replacing the recently passed away Mayor Cunningham for 6 months till the general fall election, of course whoever won, became defacto incumbent. I remember seeing that photo on the windshield of every car in my neighborhood while I walked to the poll. Thought at the time that the election was wasted of money/time with the general just 6 months away. Healy won it too??? That was my welcome to Hudson County politics.
