though the massive yellow Healy signs surrounding Grace Van Vorst church were awfully persuasive, I resisted their pull and voted Levin and Fulop.

I was out of town for a long weekend, so I didn?t see the Jersey Journal endorsements until after I voted this morning.

Turns out, I was in synch with them exactly:

I'll be voting for positive change we can believe in, want to see, and can see.

By which I mean: Levin/ Fulop.

Otherwise it's slow change/ no change.

I'm voting for Dan Levin and his ticket, and Fulop for my ward.

dan levin and his ticket's at larges. third one i'm still undecided. i'm in ward b and i'm voting for doug salters. i've done some homework and spoken with him and he's getting my vote.

My choice is Louis Manzo for Mayor. He has a history of accomplishments as a Freeholder (stopping the incinerator) and Assemblyman Highlands Preservation Act. He produced more bills than anyone. Reval will happen during the next four years, we need someone with experience in City Hall not someone new to government. Manzo has made friends in the Assembly which is important for Jersey City. I do like Dan, but he lacks the experience and connections in the Assembly, unfortunately, it is who you know that counts. I will vote for Dan's at-Large ticket (Andrew & Emilio) and I will vote for Frank Scalcione for at-large. He is a buisinessman whose family has been here for several generations. He is a caring and concern person who looks beyond his own neighborhood. For Ward E, I will vote for Steven Fulop. Steven has earned the right to be re-elected.

Here's the problem....

How many Levin voters who are fed up with Healy would go for Manzo if Levin wasn't running?

To what extent does Levin split the vote and drain votes from Manzo, actually working in Healy's favor?


Unfortunately, Wednesday morning will be the first day of the next 4 years of Healy & Co.

I also have a bad feeling that Fulop will be cleaning out his Council office....

That said, you all must vote!
