*Fall Soccer for Kids, Only $140!*

This is a CoEd recreational soccer program open to all skill levels from ages 6-14.

Register online at:
https://jerseycitysoccerassociation.com

I am very happy to share that Jersey City Soccer Association are ready to start our Recreational Program for the 2020-21 Season. JCSA run one of the largest recreational soccer program in NJ, games and practices are held at a dedicated soccer field at Caven Point in Jersey City.

Carefully following state and NJ Youth Soccer Guidelines, Jersey City Soccer Association will hold a full 2020 Fall season, as well as a full 2021 Spring season.

o Players in all Divisions will get one of our great new Uniforms
o Each Player will be assigned to a Team within their age-appropriate Division
o Teams play Games against each other each weekend, and practise one night per week.
o Fall & Spring will have a total of 16-18 Games (depending on the weather!)

Finally, the Cost for the Fall & Spring Season for 2020-21 has been held to a reasonable $140 per player. This covers you for both the fall 2020 and spring 2021 seasons. Our Recreation Program enrollment is traditionally large, with well over 500 Players, and this size has been key to helping us keep prices down.

JCSA Mission
The mission of the Jersey City Soccer Association is to provide affordable soccer programs in Jersey City, offering our players an opportunity to have fun learning to play the beautiful game of soccer, while learning about good sportsmanship, proper technique, and physical fitness. We teach our players to respect themselves, their opponents, and the game. We measure success in smiles, and our motto is to play hard, to play fair, and to have fun. We educate boys and girls of all abilities and skill levels, ages 4 through 16. We run a co-ed recreational soccer league, a separate girls program, and for players who have the ability and desire to play more competitively, a travel program.

So that's it over with for Jersey City?

Last week's storm was more intense, with all that loud thunder, that one didn't even have a name.

There are so few places available for indoor sports in Jersey City, its crazy if this large gym is not used to the maximum.

Taxes are designed to reallocate resources from rich areas to poor, that is one of their main purposes!

To highlight this redistribution and say it indicates a problem, is backwards, that is what taxes do!

Perhaps there is more to the story, but from what is written, a 21 year old throwing parties and having guests, hardly seems the worst tenant you could have.

Involving the city, or "lawyering Up" is the worse thing you could do, in my opinion, just speak to her and let her know that you need the apartment back at the end of her lease, giving her plenty of notice to find a new place.

HPNA stands for Hamilton Park Neighbourhood Association; this development is in Harsimus Cove, not Hamilton Park.

Yvonne, to my knowledge, has never been a member of either Hamilton Park or Harsimus Cove Neighbourhood Associations.

Nick, if you get basic facts such as these so wrong, the rest of what you say has no credibility.

Re: Will Jersey City and Hoboken ever lose Abbott District Status?
#17

State taxes are *supposed* to take more taxes from wealthier areas with relative surpluses, and use it to help areas in greater need, that is a goal of taxes!

If every district paid an equal 'fair share', there would be no point in collecting state taxes in the first place, they could just allow each municipality pay fully for their own schools (and everything else).

Sudhan Thomas, thank god we voted that corrupt scum bag out.

This guy, as well as freshly infamous anti-semitic nut job Joan Terrell-Paige, are candidates backed by and pushed into office by the Jersey City teachers' union, thanks very much Ron Greco.

These are the people in charge of Jersey City's school system.

Seems that 1 and 2 family homes are not in scope under the laws posted above.

Has anyone in a 2 family been subject to this inspection and successfully (or unsuccessfully) had themselves exempted on this basis?

So you didn't let them in initially, they sent you a list of generic violations such as "inspect smoke detectors", then what?

You paid an electrician to inspect the smoke detectors, and sent them that? Did you later have to let them in to inspect? At that point they did they hit you with a bunch of other violations?

Very interested to hear other folks experiences, in order to judge the best way to handle this.

I just had a fire inspector knock on my door and ask to inspect inside my house, my wife refused and said we had received no notification, he said we should have received a letter, he will resend it and return some point in the future.

This is not the state DCA inspection for 3 units and above, this is something different that I have not heard of in my 13 years of owning and living in Jersey City.

Here is the leaflet he gave us:

McNerd has girls' teams, varsity and junior varsity.

Catchment area is the whole city, so you might be able to play there. The coach's name is John Hughes.

I think however, that you should in the first instance contact the principal of the school you are interested in playing for, rather than the coach.

They bring their own volleyball net, music and beers and have a good time.
