We were saved by the technological revolution though that happened, thanks in a big part to people like Harold Hamm and George P. Mitchell who took big risks in developing a technology the big oil producers were convinced wouldn't work. The next big thing (IMHO) will be converting natural gas to liquid fuels such as diesel and gasoline. Big projects to build plants were put on hold once the light crude price went down below $60 per bbl. There are more potential reserves that haven't been touched yet. NJ has natural gas off its coast (discovered in the 1980s). However, it was not economically viable with the technology at the time to extract it.

What does come from the Mideast is pretty much limited to the East Coast refineries, which are geared for Mideast crude (low viscosity and low sulfur content). This however, has been offset by those trains full of oil coming in from Texas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and the Dakotas. The refineries out West are geared towards refining heavy crude (think of stuff that has the consistency of asphalt when cold), which comes from places like Mexico.

I have become convinced she is never held accountable for anything. She can do whatever she wants and still get blind support. How someone of such little accomplishment if any has this backing is amazing. This story as many others will fade in a few days. She is the true Teflon don.

Pneumonia is a common by product of Parkinson's disease, she's been wearing blue sunglasses that are commonly used to prevent seizures, her campaign operative insisted that after her seizure she not be brought to Bellevue, as per protocol, so that no public records could be kept . . . and first she was 'overheated' (on a mild, breezy day while she was in the shade) then a few hours later the story amazingly changed to a 'pneumonia' diagnosis a few days earlier-anyone who buys this story thinks the Benghazi attack was because of an obscure Youtube video.

The Hillary falling down vid is being scrubbed from the web, on the basis of copyright infringement. Not sure who owns the copyright now though as I think the guy who took the vid sold the rights (not sure though).
