Two men were injured early this morning in a fight that followed a road rage incident in Jersey City, police said.

One man was stabbed and the other was beat with a 4-foot long 2x4 piece of wood, cops said.

Four Jersey City men were arrested in the incident that occurred around 2:30 a.m. at Brunswick and Fourth streets in Downtown, police said.

Hansy R. Rodriguez-Martine, 21, and Matthew Bellizzi, Jr., 25, were charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, while Jose L. Goris-Cerda, 22, and Luis A. Goris-Cerda, 21, were charged with criminal mischief, reports said..

Responding to a report of a street fight, police found a man with a shirt wrapped around his right forearm that was covered in blood from a stab wound, reports said.

Rodriguez-Martine was holding a piece of wood that he dropped when police arrived, and an officer saw Bellizzi throw a weapon into a garage on Brunswick Street,

The man who was stabbed in the right forearm received 12 staples to close the wound at the Jersey City Medical Center, reports said.

Bellizzi was also treated at the Jersey City Medical Center for a wound to the back of his head and cut on his right arm, reports said.

The fracas started after the driver of a white Mercedes, while maneuvering the vehicle in front of a garage on Brunswick Street, blocked the passage of two cars that were trying to get by, reports said.

The woman said that Jose Gorris?Cerda, Luis Goris-Cerda, Rodriguez-Martine and another man got out the two cars and started kicking her vehicle, reports said.

When the woman's boyfriend, Bellizi emerged from the garage to intervene, Rodriguez-Martine hit him with the 2x4 the woman said, according to police reports said.

Bellizzi then tried to stab Luis Goris Cerda with a box cutter, but missed and instead stabbed another man in the right forearm, reports said.

Jose Goris ?Cerda, Luis Goris-Cerda, Rodriguez-Martine continued to pound the Mercedes, smashing the windows and inflicting other damage, reports said.
