Christie is no politician for the people, he comes across as a person who has all the character traits of a self-absorbed sociopath - He appears to only want fame, glory and power without the accountabilty

I am one of his loudest critics on here, but that headline is some pretty poor taste. Hell, the dude's lost some weight from when he was at his blobbiest fattest. This is the kind of stuff people hate about politics

If you read the article and brush away the spin job that is being attempted by the writer it actually paints Christie as pretty frugal in light of how he has dealt with the $95k perquisite.
Christie's the man! All you haters can suck it. Or move out of NJ.

The better question is whether or not the governor should be using tax payer money to fund his entertainment. Was he hosting potential donors for his presidential aspirations? Was he just using it so that he can get buddy-buddy with Jerry Jones prior to accepting free gifts that were in no way related to him lobbying for Jerry's company to get a massive contract with the Port Authority? For a guy that sings the "small government" anthem, he is not shy on using government services to for his own pleasure and gain. It surprises me little since Christie's character isn't one of being an honorable individual that backs up his words with actions. He's always been a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of guy.

Did you even read the report? You know, the part where it explains the practice is legal (and we don't even know, like his helicopter use, whether it was much less than previous Governors spent)?
As far as the hysterical subject, I'm not a fan of Obama, but I don't start threads with 'cigarette smoking POTUS likely lung cancer candidate), lol.
