Once again you have no idea what you are talking about... they came to the country, over stayed tourist visa and claimed refugee status because they were Chechen. Of course they had no job skills so went on welfare while Mom proceeded to become a very bad shoplifter, because she was caught a few times and had warrants. Of course the brothers were dealing drugs which got them involved as suspects with a triple murder in Waltham. Disillusioned with the lack of more free social services and the criminal justice they just naturally became Muslim terrorists because the payoff of 70 virgins was in their future. Let's talk about their college Chechen buddies now being deported for obstruction of justice. Mom continues to claim they were framed... an all Chechen American family.

Where will these Syrians wait for vetting.. in a camp somewhere in Europe? The Boston Bombers family were also vetted and when they got here, they started to collect free money which they used to buy "crockpots" (Obama reference). BTW the Russians warned us about this sleazy group. There is nothing wrong with protecting American citizens in our own country.

Wow, that?s a lot of cowardice and innuendo there... For one, the Boston Bombers were two brothers. It was basically one guy getting radicalized and then recruiting his brother. That is hardly what I would call a ?group.?

Secondly, the brothers weren?t radicalized prior to coming to the US. The rest of this family is just fine and are, given their comments after the bombing, not in favor of what they did.

Why would you compare the US to Japan?

Because as part of the global community they should be just as accepting as other countries. Although Japan is financially generous (but behind the US) they basically have walled off their country to all refugees, even those from Asia.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/09/ ... after-its-citizens-first/

And guess what? Our neighbor to the north, Canada, just elected a very liberal PM. Guess what they just announced? They will take in no single male Syrian refugees!

NYPD Commissioner prioritizes guns, not refugees:

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-sh ... s-guns-not-refugees#break

?[If] Congress really wants to do something instead of just talking about something, help us out with that terrorist watch list, those thousands of people that can purchase firearms in this country. I?m more worried about them than I am about Syrian refugees to be quite frank with you.

?So if Congress really wants to do something to help the law enforcement community and the American public, let?s start getting serious about doing something that they can actually do something about.?

Was watching CNN and a muslim woman, I think she was an activist for the Muslim Community, even said why can't Islamic States like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar etc.... take the Syrian Refugees. They are closer, they can shelter them until Syria gets settled and go back to their country to REBUILT. Why must they need to travel thousands of miles only to feel lost in a Christian country etc. She made lots of good points.

I'll look for the video.

Attacks on American Muslims are growing uglier by the day. It must stop.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/a ... e8a6_story.html?tid=sm_tw

How about you listen to this guy:

?America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country,? he said. ?Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads. And they need to be treated with respect. In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect.?

Who said that?

President George W. Bush, when he visited the Islamic Center of Washington six days after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001."

Worrying about refugees over our involvement in the Middle East is like obsessing over your home security system after you trespass on your neighbor's property. Yes, it makes sense to lock your doors, but it makes even more sense to not mess with others on their home turf.

The last quote isn't a quote, but an opinion from the author. The same author pushing the poor dead boy-the same boy who wasn't feeing Syria, but had been living for a couple years in safety in Turkey. The boy's father wanted to get to Canada to get his own teeth repaired-the family was in no danger in Turkey. Stupid Wilhelm DeBlasio also trotted out the picture last week. Don't people know this death wasn't a result of fleeing danger in Syria?

We can't tell who is who. It's not like we can pull up so much as a credit report on someone coming from an area that whipsaws between tyranny and chaos. Is this person a Syrian? Who really knows? Syrians as a whole have been really anti-American. The closest to 'pro American' we have in the region are the Kurds and they aren't fleeing t the USA (they fight).

BTW.. what do we the citizens of the United States get out of letting in a hostile and wholly incompatible people to our shores? What is in it for us (besides placating a need to commit pathological altruism)?

You could however, setup a safe region in Syria for refugees, keeping them in the country. You would have to setup camps for each tribal group. This however, would require putting soldiers on the ground. You risk a situation like we had in Lebanon in 1983.

Yes, we need to be diligent about our borders and terrorism, however, our priorities around refugees are misguided.

Anyone who has put a reasonable amount of research into ISIS realized that their man priority is not to attack us here but rather to secure land in the Middle East (the caliphate).

If we meddle in the Middle East, like we have in the past and continue to do, ISIS will be more inclined to attack us here. If we leave the Middle East alone as we should, ISIS will focus their efforts on their wars there, which is what they want do to. Let them. We've proven that we don't accomplish anything when we meddle anyway.

Again, we should always be diligent about border control but any competent terrorists will be able to get in if they want. They can come from Mexico.

So the best bang for the buck is to let ISIS focus on its Middle East enemies rather than us.

So far two refugees were involved with one having claimed himself to be from Syria. Where they are from exactly? Who knows... in a failed state filled with fake passports, the "refugees", most of whom are military age males, cannot be screened.

When the FBI director says that we can't effectively perform background checks, is he saying that we can't determine a fake passport from a real one? Or is he saying that, devoid of any paperwork, it is very hard to know who is who.

Considering that latter seems rather reasonable to conclude and is the predominant factor involved in his statement, I don't see why the argument is for No refugees at all or all refugees applying. There is such a thing as a middle ground.

Additionally, since these refugees are not actual terrorists and have not acted as terrorists, I don't see why we're created our policies based on fear.

Fulop was working in Goldman Sachs when 9/11 happen how the F does he know what happen on that day in Jersey city? lol

our politicians are a joke. They are ruining this country. And those politicians are the first to be protected and secured from harms way when we have another 9/11 on our hands while working class and poor die and lose limbs under terrorist act. it's alway the case. So they need to shut the F-up
