Christie has a much better chance of getting the role as the penguin in the next batman movie then being re-elected or running for presidency !

Monroe you can't actually believe what you are saying, can you?
Voter fraud is a right wing invention, but voter suppression is very real.

Multiple judges have said voter fraud is made up.
Hmm a judge, or the Christie staffer who trolls this board? Who to believe? But by the way- a gun ID is OK. And in North Carolina and Florida, they actually banned high schools from registering 18 year olds, and multiple states cancelled Sunday voting and same day registration. Because you know, if you register the same day with a birth certificate, or vote on Sunday instead of Tuesday, it's some how more likely you're black or young. Oh did I say black or young? I meant to say Mexican. Whoops no I meant to say fraudy. That's right fraudy. Plus without voter ID, all the ISIS members crossing the border with Ebola will have extra time to vomit into the mouths of the poll workers, thus spreading Ebola, all part of Obama's socialist plan.

...a man that's been dead for over 50 years. If that's your best point of reference, then you're argument is as valid as Hague is alive. There are multiple links on this page proving that voter fraud isn't actually a problem. The people that are in power shouldn't get to pick and choose who gets to remain in power. That's a heck of a lot more dangerous than the idea that a few illegals might vote in an election somewhere.

Ballot box stuffing, electronic machines in Chicago that need 'calibration' because they vote Democrat when Republic is pad touched, illegal immigrants on the voter rolls-all in this election before the 'real' date of the election.
All in favor of the Democrats. Anyone know who Frank Hague was?

I love how the right in this country are constantly in fear of voter fraud. The truth (as everyone knows) is there are few (if any) documented cases and even fewer cases prosecuted. One article of many :

I'll translate for you-'Please vote for old, white Democrat men' and not for 'old, white Republican men'.
People voting for Democratic candidates in the mid-terms are voting for Obama-he even said so! Of course, the actual candidate ran from that like rats from an Ebola infected plane . . . Quote:

Anything that suppresses voter turnout or makes it more difficult to vote generally helps Republicans as old, white men are the most likely to be in positions of authority that allow them time to vote.

Monroe, have you ever voted before? You do know that you have to register to vote before you actually vote right? You provide either a license or a SS number on that application. These laws are requiring people, after they have registered, to provide an ID at the booth, which is stupid. I registered already...

Gee whiz, every foreigner attending college in the USA should be able to vote in our elections, at least in states where are student ID are accepted?

Please get a student ID in your name from any of the major NJ universities and post it online. Thanks. If the purpose is to vote on a specific date then yes, voting a month early doesn't make sense. if the purpose is to maximize voter turnout then voting a month early does make sense. In India, elections are held in phases to maximize turnout. But whatever, America is #1 in everything right? We are exceptional! Even exceptionally bad at times...

Are you on crack? Student ID's are given out like popcorn, you don't even have to be 18 . . . whereas gun permits are vetted. Early voting? Why should anyone be able to vote a month before the election? Voter ID's? Yup, to prove who you are. The 'disenfranchise' meme is just another way to say 'we want people who aren't citizens to vote Democratic'.
Because it's not a burden to get ID. It is a burden to get it if you're not a citizen. That's proper, correct, and legitimate. Obama insists on ID to get welfare, food stamps and other public assistance. Aren't those the people that the Dems are saying are 'disenfranchised'?

Personally, I think the systematic disenfranchisement of hundreds of thousands of voters across the country with absurd restrictions on early voting, absentee ballots, gerrymandering, and ID restrictions (such as, gun licenses are A-OK but student IDs are not) to be much more of a problem than two idiots with billy clubs that were told to leave, charged, and then banned from their organization.

Electronic 'glitches' that change Republican votes to Democratic, ballot box stuffing, illegal aliens on the voter rolls-all going on now. Can you show me some similar illegalities that Republicans are doing this election?

Considering that voter fraud was, if not created, perfected in Jersey City by Democrats I can understand any Democrats here opposing controls to make sure only eligible voters can vote.
Frank Hague anyone? Couldn't Obama have gotten an absentee ballot if he couldn't fly to Chicago to vote in two weeks? And that young couple on either side of him, what was their reason for not voting on Election Day? Of course, in Chicago you can have 'calibration issues'! http://www.hngn.com/articles/46781/20 ... s-gop-votes-democrats.htm

Another Maddow silly piece. Can he ever get it right?
Anyway, I think what Christie means is that making sure each vote counts, that no-one is disenfranchised by illegal voters, is much more likely to be driven by Republicans than Democrats. Because if you want to fly in a plane, open a bank account, get a prescription, buy alcohol or cigarettes, or rent a DVD you'll often need to show proper ID. College ID's, for example, should never be used. No one who is a proper citizen should be disenfranchised because someone not eligible to vote cancels your vote. Isn't that the American Way?
