Looking for a nontraditional event space in the downtown neighborhood. Think raw warehouse/loft space to hold about 125 people. Space only is needed, not looking for a typical reception space at a hotel/restaurant.
Parlay Studios is already on the list.

Here is an update
checked out the HCCC Conference center its a nice place but only holds 200 max I plan to call Parlay Studios 660 Grand St. - What exactly is there? Trying to look it up to get a number to call Lackawanna - is that the place on 650 Grove st.?

Please don't waste your time checking out the Elks on Hutton Street. Heights is just kidding you, as this place is a complete mess . The parties there are attended by drunks, and dangerous types. Come on now !

The Hyatt and the Westin each have ballrooms large enough to fit a group that size. Liberty House or Maritime Parc in LSP might not be big enough... but you can call and find out.

Liberty State Park...where the CRRNJ Terminal is. I once went to a St. Peters Prep High graduation there. It was really nice...and am sure they allow for u to bring your own food. Just don't forget my invite. ;)

Been to receptions in Elks Clubs in both Hoboken & Weehawken. I'm not sure Weehawken is big enough.

You might look into Parlay studios:
http://www.parlaystudios.com/ Up until around a year ago this was a very frequent spot for events in the Jersey City arts/music community. Not sure if they still do that sort of thing but it's worth a call at least.

I am looking for a place to do a birthday party for about 350-400 ppl on march 23rd 2013 flexible to up to two weeks after or one week before.
Place can be just an open shell were I can bring my own food and liquor, a place were I can bring my own liquor, or full service dependent on pricing. Looking for a great place for the best price.
