Bergen/Lafayette coming back up-and you can thank me, as I just schlepped back 10 gallons of water from the supermarket so it was bound to happen!

Can you get the JC Police & Fire radio over the internet? If so, what's the website?

Thanks in advance!

I've been using an app that I downloaded for free called Police Radio by Critical Hit Software, LLC

No/low water in Bergen-Lafayette. I draw two conclusions:

1) someone thinks we are part of downtown;

2) no one cares about Bergen-Lafayette.

Just got off the phone with United Water--I was right; we don't exist.

Mods, can we edit the title of this thread? The water main issue seems to be affecting all of downtown and the break appears to be near Warren and Grand.

The title is confusing and people may be skipping over the thread.

If it's a 30" main, as suspected, that's thousands of gallons per minute. How can you not find that? Anybody see cars floating down the street?

Somehow it is getting to the Hudson River -- or watch out for giant sink holes.

That's typically what happens when a main breaks.

my point being, when the mains break, usually the water appears gushing out of the ground, but last i heard nothing had been seen.
