I heard a rumor of a 400 seat theater proposed for development on Newark and Brunswick across from Madame Claude's. Right now there is a fence around the property. Any ideas?

Anyone know what's happening with the old Fenny Pharmacy on Newark Ave near Grove? I saw some workers cleaning up in there while I was on the way to the PATH.
I don't know the exact number of the building. As most probably know, Fenny Pharmacy moved a few months back from this location to one a few doors down closer to the PATH station.

A few months ago, a construction worker told me the Erie/3rd St storefront was going to be an Indian restaurant. We thought it was an odd spot for that; coffee makes more sense.
Would someone please open a gourmet food shop w/a butcher in it? We have enough Mexican and pizza.

Haha, when it rains it pours with food genres in JC. A year ago or so, about 3-4 Mexican restaurants opened up within a month. Now, we are getting 3 bakeries opening up within a short period of time.

The building on 1st between Grove and Erie is out of the ground and at a good height for sidewalk superintending. Most kids, in my experience, really enjoy watching this kind of activity and right now they can look inside the molds and see the metal rods used to strengthen the concrete, etc.
Torico's is at the corner, a perfect place to refresh after.

Does anyone have information on the following locations?
-The space next to Sawadee with the glass windows and doors? -The space at the base of 109 Christopher Columbus aka The Grove? (I originally believed this space was for Crossfit, but apparently it's being outfitted for a restaurant) -The old Cupcake Salon space (which is seeing lots of demo on the inside lately)

While heading towards the hudson mall yesterday, I looked out the window of the light rail and noticed that the junkyard on the block before you pull into the light rail station had been demolished, including that nearly dead water tower. The view that used to be scrap heaps and the like is now a gravel field with a little league park just north of that - fairly standard americana actually.
any idea what's gonna go there? also the land south of the lines has been "under construction" for years, with little change. any word on that?

Anyone know what's going into the storefront to the right of Choc o Pain (where Jacks toy store used to be)? The For Rent sign came down weeks ago and it would be great to get something in there while the enthusiasm for CoP is so high.
