Which one is it? Manchego is a hard, white cheese, from Spain. It hails from the region of La Mancha. Anyone ever find pasteurized eggs? Yes, they make pasteurized eggs (by cleaning the shells).

i seen pastry flour is the shop rite. Its on the bottom shelf with all the other flour in the health food isle. (I think its aisle 14)

I think my sister used to find it at A & P.

Anyone know of a local market that carries Pastry Flour?

It doesn't really keep. It's only homemade when you make it at home. Have you tried? Super easy with the right tools.

does anyone know where i can get some good pancetta or guanciale in or around JC? and not that gross domestic stuff that they sell at A&P. i'd usually go into nyc to get it, but i only need a little bit for something i'm making and i don't feel like making that trip. it's the sort of thing any good italian specialty food store should sell. i cannot wait for buon italia to open!

Hudson Greene Market at 77 Hudson has gluten-free cake mixes.

Both of the markets on Newark Ave (P&K Fruit and don't know the name of the other one) between Grove and Jersey carry most or all of the Bob's Red Mill line.

Several stores near me have the Bob's Red Mill line - you might try the Liberty Towers Gourmet and the new grocery store at 77 Hudson. The new store has a bigger selection so may have what you're looking for. Otherwise, try Subia's.

you'll definitely find them on bergenline ave. good options and decent prices. you can take the light rail to the bergenline stop and walk around.

take a ride up to Bergenline Ave in Union City. Tons of places that sell them.
