That's a great approach (celebrating the Second Amendment by buying now) and no matter what happens we will have 3 months before Obama/Pelosi take power. Our soon to be liberal overlords should keep in mind how Clinton lost the Congress in two years due to his gun prohibition laws.

The prospect of liberal hegemony probably does more to put firearms into the hands of the right people than anything else.

Since you are an expert on the 2nd amendment and spelling for that matter why don't you enlighten all of us on why we are so wrong on this subject.

In the meantime I'll be at Caso's Gun o rama buying more ammo.

Good luck fighting off that pack of wolves with a broomstick.

And as far as needing guns if Obama "looses" (nice spelling, twat), I would imagine your redneck brethern will be much better armed and willing if Obama wins.

Loopy, you are big on the name calling. No need for "twat" and redneck brethren (which you misspelled) I just think it is funny that legitimate news sources are talking about rioting no matter what the outcome is this election. I just have never heard of this before and think it is really sad that we even have to talk about it.

The media is the biggest instigator when it comes to race relations and all that garbage ! they should be held accountable if anything were to take place !

Loopy, we don't need a book to tell us when are rights are being trampled on, or worse yet, taken away. Besides, with Obama's higher taxes, we won't be able to afford to buy books.

The Republicans are the ones who want to amend the constitution - to say gays can't marry. This would be the last amendment to TAKE away rights rather than grant them (i.e. women voting) since prohibition.

I don't have a problem as some do with people owning handguns for protection or shotguns for hunting, but I don't see what what someone needs with a sub-machine.

You may want a gun for all of the rioting that is supposedly going to occur if Obama wins or looses...

Gun rights group wants ACORN out of Jersey City case

by The Jersey Journal
Wednesday October 29, 2008, 9:27 AM

The Second Amendment Foundation, which advocates for the rights of gun owners, has set its sights on ACORN, the community activist organizing group.

SAF, on its Web site, contends ACORN -- Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now -- is working to get a one-gun-a-month law passed in Jersey City. The Jersey City law was struck down in court and again in an appeals court last month.

"ACORN has, since 1998, received an estimated $31 million in government funding," said SAF founder Alan Gottlieb says in the Web Site report. "Now they have intervened in a New Jersey gun rights case in defense of an illegal Jersey City one-gun-a-month ordinance that violates the state preemption statute.

"For the past few election cycles," Gottlieb noted, "ACORN has clearly grown more partisan toward the political left. ACORN'S PAC has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for president. That's hardly surprising since he used to serve as their legal counsel and he taught the group about community organizing. ACORN and Obama are lockstep in seeking to destroy our Second Amendment rights."
