I wasn't aware of so many Dentists ! Vita Dental Arts, Wife and Husband team. Two top of there class NYU school of Dentistry. Vitaliy Valyuk, and Viktoriya 121 Newark ave JCNJ Terrific Guy

Dr. Nancy Hannah on JFK Blvd is the best. Our family of 5 has been going to her for 20+ years. Office is very efficient - minimal wait time.

I'd also recommend Dr. Vitale in Port Liberte.
Worth the extra hassle of getting over there, but Uber makes it all so much easier now. Dr. Vitale answered my plea for help in the early morning hours one Monday many years ago when I didn't have a dentist and suddenly suffered from severe tooth pain. I've been devoted to him ever since. He loves his work, you can tell. And everyone in his office is helpful and happy -- all the time.

Dr. Paramo at Hudson Family Dental on Central and St Pauls Avenues (just a few blocks from the resevoir)
She is FANTASTIC. I avoided the dentist for years because I hated going. She is great, as is the office staff. Call 201-222-8200

Whenever I go to the dentist or a JCLIST dentist referral question comes up I always have to plug Dr. Shyne. He is the kindest gentlest dentist I have ever come across. I was always deathly afraid of dentists before finding him. He treats me like a baby telling me everything he is about to do and always asks if I feel any pain.(which I never feel) It?s a small office but he has all of the latest technology/tools. Just out to Rt 7?the Bellville Pike..past PIZZALAND (forgetaboutit)?make a right on Ridge Road and you are there.

Shaking this thread once again - I'm looking for a new dentist (live in the Heights, near Pershing Field) and work near City Hall in Manhattan.
Can anyone recommend any of the dental offices on Central Avenue and/or a short stroll from the Heights? Hoboken is a close walk too, now that the 100 Steps are back.

Highly recommend Dr. Colucci on JFK and Fairmount. My wife and I have been going to him for 5 years. Easy to get an appointment, always very quick, and accommodating.

Dr. Richard Cohen on Jersey Avenue is awesome:

I went to Dr. Paek for a long overdue cleaning last month. It was one of my more pleasant experiences at the dentist. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

The office is a little older, but all the equipment is modern (3-D X-Rays and such) and the staff was friendly and professional. If you live downtown, you can't beat the convenience and you can feel secure about their services. I recommend Dr Paek with confidence.

I stopped going to JC dentists years ago when all of mine packed up and left. (I hope it wasn?t because of me) Luckily I found a great one in North Arlington, NJ. I know you people like to ?shop? JC but if you really want to try someone great his office is a short drive from JC. Just out to Rt 7?the Bellville Pike..past PIZZALAND (forgetaboutit)?make a right on Ridge Road and you are there. If you have not been to a dentist for a while or you are afraid of dentists don?t be, this guy treats you like a baby if he sees fear in your eye.
