I was denied my lemon meringue pie coming back from Kentucky last week. I'm surprised they even got past the security check point.

I went yesterday and it was fun browsing all of the aisles. I'm so happy this place came to JC and won't need to go to Chinatown or Edgewater to get my fix of asian ingredients. Will I do my shopping here on a regular basis? No. But will I go here from time to time? Definitely.

What is the scoop on the building and units for a potential buyer? Is it constructed well?

I know this sounds crazy, but the builder may want your building to be unstable. It is then deemed unhabitable and he buys up the property from the current owner. We saw something similar in the PAD.

Make sure you do your due diligence, especially regarding the potential for soil contamination. Will the city be responsible for any environmental responsibilities if they come up?

I don't know that this is the answer, but hear me out. If we voted in all of the local elections (like technically we all should be doing) it would be obvious we need more voting booths.

While the city intends to only offer permits to those in buildings without parking, the system has flaws. There are residents in some of those buildings who have recently been given permits. At some point it will be corrected. The legality of it is questionable, but that is another issue.

Not everyone is against Transmission. I am on the PADNA board and would like to see it stay in business. Feel free to PM me to discuss.

If your cat gets nervous, she is going to be really nervous at a boarding facility. Cats like to be in their own homes. Highly recommend you reconsider getting a sitter.

Its best to keep it as a building of some sort - the slab is protective of the contamination that lies beneath. Chromium and PCBs if I had to guess.

Nothing will be done anytime soon. There isnt even a buyer for the building let alone plans to build/rehab. There was a potential buyer but that fell through.

This could be justified if they asked for a "loan" from us. Put in $75 now and you will get back your $75 later PLUS a tshirt or era or whatever the heck that is.

I am all for giving to non profits. I am part of a non profit myself. To me this is post was odd, but then again people can do whatever they want with their money.

There is no reason to go through Mandalay's property to access the boardwalk - there is a public walkway between Crystal Point and Mandalay.

Animal Control Not Responding to Calls
#30
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

I heard of quite a few instances lately where Animal Control is called after hours with no response.

Technically those after hour calls are supposed to go through the police department or a call center but somehow they are not. When asked about it, Animal Control has no record of any calls coming through.

Has anyone had similar issues?
