"It's well known" is the statement when one does not actually have evidence.

Bertoli has no role with the campaign.

His relationship with Alex Habib is the same as was his relationship with you. You both helped run that campaign and worked with him.

Alex, like you, is not in the inner circle of Fulop anymore (and neither is Bertoli). But unlike some of Fulop's former allies (like the school board mafia) he didn't outright declare war on him just because he was no longer favored. So he's still able to have a conversation with Bertoli to talk about field ops and pick his brain for strategy.

You wont see any expenditure for Bertoli or anyone else on the ELEC reports, because there is none.

I expect such innuendos to be spread by people like the school board mafia who demonstrated no scruples whatsoever when attacking the other side. I expect better, but am not surprised, when Augie Torres says stuff to stir the pot even though it's not backed by anything solid. I definitely expect better, and am surprised, when you start making such accusations.

As you pointed out earlier - you've been sleeping. I would interpret Augie's comment differently: it's widespread enough that even HE has noticed. It's well known within both camps that Bertoli is involved.

No I'm not counting them. I haven't seen any of them, The volunteers are, in fact, volunteers.

Notwithstanding Augie Torres's attempt to conjure up bogeyman, Symes has not received support from the Mayor or the city. Oh, and Bertoli is not around either.

I was asleep or I would have!

But everyone knows how this is done. A friend or someone else lets you in. The developer had nothing to do with it. And has nothing to do with it throughout Ward E. I am friends with the Oakman developers, and they are scrupulous in not telling the building residents who they think they should vote for, even though James has repeatedly used them as a pinata in his campaign, and even though nothing legally prohibits them from expressing their opinion.

One of my friends in Liberty Harbor at 9 Regent said he was voting for James after he met him when James was in the building knocking on doors unsolicited. So James knows the "get in the building and ask for forgiveness rather than permission" drill quite well.

James may outspend Rebecca. But he sure as hell won't out-work her.

Phil - in '13, I hardly think the municipal workforce or local political apparatuses were behind us. Or do you have me confused with someone else? That's the last election I was involved in.

Sadly - we won't really know how much money was dumped into the race on her behalf until after the election. I'm curious to see where the funding for her election day GOTV comes from and how many people are put on the street on her behalf from the unions.

Meanwhile, Chris Christie's infamous education commissioner Chris Cerf is a big Solomon supporter. $1000 from the latest ELEC report.

Because they are smart and know how to read ELEC reports and everyone knows who paid for the poll now. Because of the link I keep posting.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DP0D9R3UIAAIN2w.jpg:large

Are you implying there were two $30,000 live polls at the same time. Call the PAC they will tell you.

You can't possibly still be having this argument with the truth in front of you.

You're just a troll that wants your post at the top.

How exactly would Rebecca's campaign know who did that push poll? It is a federal crime to coordinate efforts between a campaign and a PAC. If you think federal crimes are being broken, call federal law enforcement.

She already beat James Solomon by 500 votes. Turnout Tuesday is going to be dramatically worse. Why would her campaign commit federal crimes to defeat him? It's not about him at all. The PAC likes her. And so do voters. That isn't a crime.

The poll tested negatives against both candidates. Literally they could have designed the poll that way to make it look suspicious.
Tommy Bertoli is a pro at dirty tricks. They were in the Hoboken Race doing weird polls too.

Here is the linked to the disbursement from stronger foundations paying for the poll. Call Rebecca's campaign and ask her I'm sure they will admit the PAC paid for it.

Why would a PAC release a push poll against Symes? That makes no sense. It's a reverse push poll? That's not even a thing.

Just because the PAC used money to poll doesn't mean it was the negative push poll.

The more obvious conclusion is that James did some message polling with questions about Rebecca secretly living in Hoboken.

Both Symes and the PAC have been relentlessly positive. Only Solomon's side (who is behind) is smearing.

If Solomon was winning he'd be acting like Symes is now: focused on getting out the vote. I don't think people will forget how relentlessly negative Solomon has played this. $200,000 down the drain! And he doesn't get to run for mayor in 2021!

Here's the ELEC report of the payment disbursement FOR THE POLL. Stronger Foundations paid for it and then trolls came on here an attributed it to James. Talk about dirty tricks. Stronger Foundations paid for the poll.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DP0D9R3UIAAIN2w.jpg:large

I got the poll on Monday November 13th. I called the Solomon campaign immediately because it was a "live" poll and I knew neither candidate could afford to spend $30,000 on a poll. It was the first they had heard of it. There had been rumors of a development PAC forming for Rebecca but I had serious doubts a PAC would jump into a Ward runoff. It didn't seem real. Boy was I wrong. James has development interest truly scared.

And if you aren't a troll for the Symes campaign sign your name or stop posting nonsense.

Solomon?s first email after the election called attention to this negative poll, before any voters actually received the poll. You can?t honestly tell me it?s okay to ?assume? who?s funding a labor union PAC (surprise, it?s a union) and not assume that James Solomon pulled a Donald Trump on us by lying about the poll, cried victim, to distract the public from the fact that HE was funding a poll (like the negative one) himself.

So we have to ?assume? it?s developers that are behind this PAC? Since we don?t know....it?s one of the laziest assumptions someone with any reasoning could make.

Have you looked at the latest ELEC spending? You might want to compare who has spent how much on direct mail, and who has outspent whom. Really.

Oh, whatever

Yes, PACs are a bad system. However, there is only one PAC operating, and Symes has no control over it. Her campaign is not allowed to coordinate with it in any way, shape or form. She can't even tell them to stop.

Meanwhile, Solomon seems intent on buying the election outright. He's loaning money to his own campaign, and apparently his rich out-of-town buddies are giving to his campaign. He's outspending Symes and the PAC. It's hard to see how that's any better.

And yet, you are perfectly happy to insinuate that it's connected to developers? Nice.

Y'know, I'm pretty neutral on this election; their platforms are very close. However, all this negative crap from Solomon supporters and the candidate is turning me off.

So here?s why the dark money matters. Remember they don?t have to disclose their donors.

The amounts you are talking about that James and Rebecca spent while high will be dwarfed by what this dark money PAC will spend pushing Rebecca. Rebecca and James have about 1000 likes on Facebook. Their campaign sponsored ads get roughly 6000-7000 views. The Stronger Foundations commercial has 30,000 views. They are running all day everyday. It is also running on television which is much more expensive. TV ads in a ward e race! The pac spent $35,000 on polling as soon as they jumped in the race. Then Symes supporters on this list tried to pretend James put out the poll. Stronger Foundations has since disclosed an election report showing they paid for the poll, $35,000!

Some people suggested this is a labor pac and does appear to have some labor individuals attached to it. It?s labor with close connections to development interests. But we actually have no idea who is spending this money and probably never will. So we have to assume its developers, it?s the only assumption that makes sense for a thinking person. We know Tommy Bertoli pushes developers projects through city governments, that?s what he does. We know that Stronger Foundations contributes to the campaigns he is involved in. The Jersey Journal has reported that he is working for Rebecca. As the money rolls in the machine falls in line behind Rebecca and things never change.

Please connect the dots and Vote for James on Tuesday. The developers are scared that the days of abatements will end in ward e. They should be scared because we have the will of the people. We will win on Tuesday if thinking people come out and vote.

Thanks for reading I probably won?t go back and forth with anyone. But I won?t quietly let them do this.
