There are over 100 comments here, lol.
Or maybe just head on over to Yelp to read reviews?
Most companies will have insurance coverage & bonding.

Who has the latest in house cleaning services and or people, that won't cost a fortune, has a license, and will not rob the place. All suggestions welcomed. Thanks.

Good day. If anyone is looking for housecleaning help, I would like to recommend Rosie, she speaks English, she would also help with laundry, ironing and some organizing. Her rates are very reasonable, she has references available. You can call her or text her at 201.697.7106. She does everything herself, she is not a service. Thanks for your time

We've worked with Bertha from 5 STAR Cleaning for almost 3 years now. Bertha is a true professional, whose attention to detail leaves our home and family in fantastic shape every time she comes. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality and trustworthy service.

You can reach Bertha directly at 551-655-8750. Let her know if you have your own cleaning supplies, or does she need to bring them.

After trying a few, I stuck with MaidinJC. I have been using them for over a year and they are amazing. I have never been able to get my place the same kind of clean. They somehow organize all the clutter too.

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good cleaning service that is relatively inexpensive (I'm thinking $60-80 per visit)? We recently had maidsinjc come to do an initial cleaning and while they were FABULOUS they are too expensive to use on a regular basis.

Thanks in advance!

Can anyone recommend a reliable and consistent cleaning service that you've used for a long time? A service that is bonded/insured is a must. Looking forward to responses or PMs.
Thanks!

I highly recommend Maria Sumba. I started working with her group after my c-section and (six years later) haven't found a reason not to work with her TERRIFIC team :)
Anyone I have ever recommended her to is always thrilled and astounded with the cleaning work compared with other people they may have used previously.

I've had good experiences with Clean Popo. They are by no means the cheapest but you can book your appointment online and pay with paypal.

You know, I recently had someone quote me a rate for cleaning my place, which is usually kept very, very clean. They came back with a rate close to the ones in the site above. I laughed about it, told her it was too much, and moved on.

You can find many good people online (via your local Nextdoor site) that will quote a reasonable rate and who come with great references. If you have a 3BD/2BA and you are paying more than $80/week, you are paying way too much. In DTJC, there are some great cleaning people charging that, or less.

The girl I used for 3 years unfortunately left back to her country of origin and through a friend of mine he recommended I call who he has been using for months. To my shock I was expecting a woman but instead it was a guy.I was very skeptical at 1st but he had everything needed in a a black bag even a vacuum cleaner, very polite and he is very detailed even offered to do my laundry. So it's been a year now every week and he is absolutely amazing.I highly recommend him. From my understanding he works Jersey city,Hoboken and Manhattan. His number is 201-736-0505 just tell him Giovanni sent you.His name is Frank and I believe he maybe Italian he is really a nice guy my wife loves him and also my kids.I used Homejoy that was a nightmare but this guy I have no regrets again highly recommend him.Calling him is hit or miss so you are better off texting him at $20 per hour he is worth every penny I always give him an extra $10-$20 tip.Use him once and you'll see what I mean.

I have got to say, my cleaning lady is the best. Very honest, very punctual. Portuguese. have her for over a year now and she is great. Good prices too... a one bedroom is $60 once per month, or $50/every two weeks or $40/every week.

If any one is looking for a good cleaning lady, call her and tell her Salvatore sent you. She only works in Downtown, Journal Square, and Hoboken.

I like that the owner lives here in town and is a real company with insurance, bonding, etc. After my prior experience, I'll be more careful on who I give my keys to.

Seeking bonded cleaning service willing to submit Certificate of Insurance to work in client's apartment in hi-rise building DTJC. Any recommendations of cleaning services offering exceptional service with white glove experience? We are familiar with services starting out great and issues arise when rushing occurs. Client has experienced damage to furniture, art work and flooring due to these issues and would like to treat a cleaning service well in exchange for meticulous white glove services. Any suggestions?

I'd def recommend it. It was a one man job, the guy was very professional and brought all his own cleaning supplies. I booked through homejoy.com, didn't even have to speak to a human. The UI on the site is great, you just answer a few questions and pick your time. The cleaner did a great job; I'd say the only gripe I had was that I had to book them about 3 weeks out, so if you're in a rush to get your place cleaned that might not work out for you. It was only $45 total with this deal link, good luck!

Spotless Planet-XXXXXXXXXXXX. Terrible. Came to give estimate for cleaning my individual unit and my building. Completely underwhelmed. However, I chose to hire them to take care of building maintenance (a pretty high $$$ job). Never received a response. On top of that, they're supposed to be "green". WELL - I found out they clean the unit beneath mine, which smells like a BLEACH/CHEMICAL factory every Friday (when the come). So, aside from being a complete lie about being "green" cleaners - Spotless Planet is completely unprofessional. It's very sad that there are so few options for quality contractors/house cleaners/plumbers/electricians here is JC.....

Check out homejoy.com, I just got my 1100 sq ft condo cleaned for like 4.5 hrs for $45. Can't recall if I used a coupon or not, but regardless they're inexpensive for the area and do a great job.

Is it really that hard to show up on time and thoroughly clean an apartment? I guess so because I've fired my share of cleaning teams over the years, haha!

I've been using Ana & Gina for awhile now and am really happy ~ they're reliable, affordable and nice. Email is cleanjerseycity@gmail.com

Good luck!

We've been using Clean Popo out of Hoboken for a while now. They are consistently on time and the cleanings are always great. We book over email with Nick (nick@cleanpopo.com) and can almost always get an appointment within a day or two of contacting them.
