That is some twisted logic right there. Anyway, you're a few days behind on your talking points buddy. The new line is they want to try repeal and replace again.

That's why the best plan so to let the healthcare fail. Let Obama own it. When 30 million decide not to insure themselves to to skyrocketing premiums it will be on the Dems. Only then will they be willing work on a solution and reform.

At least we can agree on somethings. I agree that term limits for Senators and Congressmen should be a major priority for both sides. Too much of the same guard isn't good for the people.

I think the Republican Establishment Failure was pretty apparent to many voters. Romney, McCain, Bush? Remember what the stage looked like with 20 establishment candidates on it? It is conclusive that this battle for the future of America is between Washington DC Elites (Both parties) Term Limits is the only answer... and for grass roots left and right, getting that in place should be the priority. Look at the age of the DC "Leadership". I am willing to bet McCain knew he was sick last November when he ran for reelection.

Don't you think that the time for "Republican due diligence " was at any time over the last seven years, not right now? "Right now" is the time frame any rational person would expect to see a workable improved health care proposal being unveiled. But what we have instead is a Body of Republicans who have control of the House and Senate and the Whitehouse, who LITTERALY spent the last seven years CROWING about their desire and intention to implement a new and better alternative to the ACA, failing to show that they had made ANY attempt at Planing or crafting a working model that would replace the ACA and which they could all agree on. It's a colossal failure and should demonstrate to all Republican voters that their representatives have been lying to them for the last seven years, that they never had an alternative to the ACA. All their focus and energy was spent on obstructionism and now when it is their turn to legislate and lead, they don't know how to do it, they are completely failing to perform as lawmakers. Why did you vote for them?

I had the same thought. This is from the wiki link.
The United States does not have a universal health care system. However, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, sought to have expanded insurance coverage to legal residents by 2014. It provides for federally mandated health insurance to be implemented in the United States during the 2010?2019 decade with the Federal government subsidizing legal resident households with income up to 400% of the Federal poverty level.[125] This threshold varies according to State and household size, but for an average family of four, subsidies would be available for families whose income was about $88,000 or lower.[126] In June 2010 adults with pre-existing conditions became eligible to join a temporary high-risk pool.[127] In 2014, applicants of the same age began to be able to obtain health insurance at the same published rate regardless of health status ? the first time in U.S. history that insurers no longer had the right to load the premium or deny coverage prior to contract, or cancel a policy after contract due to an adverse health condition, or test result indicating that one may be imminent. The law prohibits insurers from capping their liability for a person's health care needs, a move which is expected to rectify medically induced bankruptcy. As of October 7, 2016, the U.S. uninsured rate fell to 10.9% from the 14.6% recorded when President Obama came into office. During the debates about proposed Obamacare, more and more Americans dropped their existing insurance in hopes of something better from Obama's plan, and the uninsured rate peaked at 17.1% just before Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, started its "exchanges" and made the new plans available. 85.4% of Americans had insurance when Obama entered office; 89.1% had insurance by the time he left office.[128]

Azul, you need to clarify WTF your list is of.
Anyone without insurance is freeloading, pure and simple. It's not "freedom", it's theft. They know that if they get sick or hit by a truck, they'll get taken care of at public expense because despite the GOP, we are a humane country. But its a crappy, extremely expensive and dishonest way to run a healthcare system, with some hospitals struggling and others not depending on their local population. Emergency rooms are inefficient at primary care. Single payer would be best, but ACA was the best that could be done with the insurance industry ready to spend unlimited money to defeat single payer. The cynicism of the GOP in trying to kill it knows no bounds.

Most reasonable people do not agree that everyone "should" have insurance.
Especially when you have liberal immigration policies that encourage poor illegals around the world to come here.

So you're in favor of people not having insurance, and having crushing medical bills bankrupt them? Or, is it more like you want everyone else with insurance to pay more for their coverage so we can cover costs for the uninsured? I think most reasonable people would agree that the ACA has a lot of issues that desperately need to be fixed, but I also think most reasonable people would agree that everyone should have insurance. Why not we move to a single payer system with an option to have private insurance if you want that.

I get really amused when people quote the 'millions' of people losing healthcare, when many of those 'millions' are people who drop Obamacare because they're not mandated to pay it and choose to not pay it.

Let that just sink in for a moment. He would have never appointed the guy, had he known he was going to do the right thing once he was under investigation. He is so utterly "tone deaf" to ethics. (emails, Benghazi, uranium...in 3..2...1)

Trump just needs to stop talking to reporters without a pre approved message. When he goes off book, he just digs himself deeper into a hole.
Now Trump says that he would have never appointed Jeff Sessions as the AG had he known he was going to recuse himself. Let that just sink in for a moment. He would have never appointed the guy, had he known he was going to do the right thing once he was under investigation. It doesn't seem to have hit Trump yet, but you can't run a Presidential administration like you run a private business. This isn't a hard concept to grasp.

I would add that it appears that Trump only cares about the optics related to what is happening for him that moment. If it's something in the past or future he couldn't care less.

Actually, Trump is very consistent. As looks as it looks like a WIN, he doesn't care what it is. It's just about the optics.

I hate to break it to you but we're not in control here. You are. HRC didn't run on a platform with a major part being repeal and replace. It's your turn to come up with a plan, but nobody has any good ideas. You had 7 years. All you can come up with is scrap it. That's hardly a plan. Both sides have shown an unwillingness to compromise. What's your point.

It needs to be scrapped because costs are spiraling out of control. Trump has said many times it may have to fail to get fixed. Bi partisan you ask? You need to look at your own party where no one has compromised!
