Melania and Barron von Trump?s New York City arrangements will cost taxpayers over one-billion dollars* during his first term.

Cancel lease!

(*I have no idea, but facts are no longer relevant.)

One big benefit with President Trump will be that HUD will lose it recent mandate to be an alt-left, 'progressive' arm for social engineering and get back to actually building stuff.

And by the way, the US economy added 161,000 jobs in October but i guess that does not count...

Wait for these numbers to start mattering next year...

My bad on the math.

On your second note, that's exactly the point. I didn't raise the topic. You did. I get that you're excited that your candidate won. That's fine, but it doesn't mean that you should be spewing a disingenuous summary of a brief conversation about potential future actions as if the president-elect has accomplished something.

I will praise domestic job creation once it happens. So, in your own words, "wait for him to actually arrive."

The ?Truth Division? huh? A news source that boldly claims to be truthful should inspire as much confidence as bank that claims it doesn?t steal your money.

Yes, again this is a poor extrapolation of what was actually said in the interview. Here are excerpts from an article on the same topic from Reuters.

Quote:
"I'm more than happy to bring back the employees that we were forced to lay off during the depressing period," Longhi said in an interview on CNBC. Which "could be close to 10,000 jobs."

So an off the cuff, non-committal statement from a CEO who got to be on TV that he would like to bring back jobs lost during the recession.

Quote:
The company had about 21,000 employees in North America as of Dec. 31, down from about 28,000 in 2007.

Which included a pretty serious rounding up from 6,000 to 10,000 jobs. I guess 6,000 "could be close to 10,000."

Quote:
"Market conditions will dictate if, when and how many employees we can recall," a U.S. Steel spokeswoman told Reuters on Wednesday.

And then a backpedal from a company spokesperson ensuring that the company is guaranteeing 0 new jobs.

All in all, a pretty far cry from the sensationalized headline presented by JCMan8.

It's ok, let the haters run their mouths. They've been impotently doing so for the past 18 months.

In the meantime, Trump will continue putting America first, building up his popularity (60% of Americans said his Carrier deal made them look upon him more favorably), and Making America Great Again.

Excellent news...here's some more:

"Federal judge halts recount, sealing Trump's Michigan win"

Trump did promise that we'll win so much that we'll eventually get tired of winning!

I take it the usual "progressive" trolls are unable to respond, and have to wait for their media to issue talking points to tell them what to think, and they'll comment on this tomorrow.

Still waiting on a response about the attempt to connect the Clinton campaign to financing or expecting a positive result out of the recount, but sure.

From your link:

"Son, who wore a red tie and red sweater under his suit jacket, told reporters his company would create jobs by investing in start up companies in the United States."

They are not directly creating any jobs. This is a glorified VC fund throwing cash at Silicon Valley and hoping for returns.

"I just came to celebrate his new job. We were talking about it. Then I said I would like to celebrate his presidential job and commit, because he would do a lot of deregulation. I said this is great."

Do you know why Son and Softbank care about deregulation? They've essentially punted on trying to purchase T-Mobile and merge it with Sprint (fewer choices are bad for all consumers) because the FCC head and Judicial Department were against it.

So, he's giving Trump a nonsense talking point that requires 0 follow through in exchange for an FCC appointment who will be amenable to Son's cause.
this will be fun watching trump allow the merger of sprint, tmobile while trying to watch him block attacks, timewarner

Trumps lead increasing in Wisconsin recount. Some will claim he's bullying Hillary by beating her a second time.

They're far into the recount in notoriously crooked/Democrat controlled Philly, and YES! they are finding voting errors!

Four more votes for Hillary, and Trump's vote count is unchanged.

This is spin to fit your agenda. The referendum was not about progressive populism. If the people vote in Five Star, then you have a point.

Both are catchy but the Italian referendum was not about the EU, it was about changing the constitution to create a stronger federal government.

Italians are pro-EU. They are also (understandably) wary about a stronger federal government ever since Mussolini.

Trump continues to put Americans first and Make America Great Again, and he's not even in office yet. This is going to be a great 8 years!!

Masa (SoftBank) of Japan has agreed to invest $50 billion in the U.S. toward businesses and 50,000 new jobs....

So refreshing to see a president who actually cares about cutting waste, fraud, and abuse.

As he wastes millions to retrofit his private plane in 3, 2, 1...

And Hillary continues her presidential dreams spending millions on ballot recounts.

She's completely lost it at this point. Guess she mentally cannot handle the fact that it was Her turn yet Trump deprived her.

Setting aside the point that it is over a month post-election and your top defense is still a Hillary deflect (don't really care on this one because Hamparkvet's specific comment doesn't hold a lot of water since this aircraft isn't scheduled until 2023), where are you seeing that the Clinton campaign spent any money on the recount?

Their lead lawyer has said the following, "...because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves. But now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides."
