In all seriousness, I bet a bunch of you have had run ins with Heights and don't realize it. He's an older guy, walks all over town in a hard hat, sometimes talking to himself, sometimes yelling at cars. I was told there was nothing to be done because of health/privacy laws.

There's an easy way to tell.
If you hear one loud bang, it might be an explosion. If you and your house are ok - no point sweating it. If your windows are blown in, or there's a fireball down the street - you might want to get out. Irregular sequences of bangs are fireworks or thunder. Regular ones might be gunfire. But generally, if you're not in a pool of blood - you're fine.
