Thanks to some asshole (who should have stayed in the sterile suburbs to begin with) that poor cat is now homeless or got dumped at a shelter.

@ MikeyTBC, LOL, just stated my opinion. If you prefer eating your food with cats lying on the counter tops. Dirty windows, Beat-up floors, and dingy looking kitchen. Then enjoy! Not for me.

I find that interesting indeed.
The people whom I've taken to wonder bagels and loved bagels(this is the crucial bit) always seem to rave about it and some of these people are old school nj/ny folks who know what a good bagel is. At times I think the bagels could be cooked longer, with such high volume I just don't expect it to be perfect every single time but it's usually a pretty good rate for me regardless. I try not going when everyone else is going. Now here's a tip for the bagel freaks. If you goto the legal grounds coffeeshop, they use wonder bagels and with the way they prepare their fixings it always seems to come out better imo. Might have to do with the fact that there is no line out the door and that the bagel is being cooked a 2nd time around.

I just came back from Wonder Bagels on Sip for first time this summer. French Toast Bagel with butter and jelly is out of this world. The bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers etc is a good value at $7.75.
They said the location on Central ave is in the works but was a little cagey on the exact details. Other locations also possibly in the planning stages!

Yay, bagels in the Heights that's something other than Dunkin Donuts.
I imagine they're taking over the old Central Bagels spot? Seems like that would be the easiest to pick up and go from.

That's what's perplexing- it's the only halfway decent bagel store in the neighborhood so there's a line but the bagels are totally mediocre. Why has no one taken advantage of the dire need for a good bagel place? I can assure you no one is waiting in line because of quality- it's lack of other options.

Interesting, every-time I go downtown especially on a Sunday the Wonder Bagel down there always has a line around the block, but on this message board all I hear is how horrible it is. Very interesting.

The downtown location's bagel quality has really gone down. The texture is different and it's gone from hit or miss to just always bad whenever I get one from there. Why can't downtown get a decent bagel place??

@ User 1111, If you run into the owner of Wonder Bagel again. Please, ask him when is he going to remodel the Downtown Location on Jersey Ave. That place is down right disgusting looking. I stopped going there awhile ago.

It was just a matter of time, by the looks of the crowds on JC Fridays, the farmer's market, Live at the Lumber Yard and other areas of the Heights establishments I think this business will have enough business to sustain itself.
