People should not relax about her... I heard she is the actual person who decapitated and buried a dachshund in the park years ago, she clearly came back to remove the evidence - for the newbies that was the highlight of jclist before the ebola crazies.

If I saw Bernie Goetz I'd want to shake his hand and would not feel the least bit uncomfortable around him. If you don't attempt to mug someone, you probably won't get hurt. That's how it usually works.

I get quite uncomfortable around admitted racists, but I guess I'm not a typical JCList user.

I guess I didn't express myself sufficiently. I don't care for racists either, but I certainly wouldn't feel unsafe around Bernie Goetz and I doubt most people of color would. Only people who attempt to mug him are the ones that might feel uncomfortable, but then those types (regardless of color) are not the most rational of thinkers.

She better keep her dog on a leash if she doesn't want to draw unnecessary attention to herself. However justified or unjustified it may be, she'll be bearing a scarlet letter for a while. That's reality. Fortunately for her, I don't think the paparazzi will be interested.

THERE IS A SPEEDER VISITING JERSEY CITY? OMG!!!

I really doubt she was scoping out the tennis courts as a bombing target. Relax yourself.

She'll fit in just fine here.

Hey Jimi Jump glad to see that you have your eyes open and not blind to the facts of what could happen. Always good to be ready at a moment's notice and protect one's self and those around them as well.

Ok, wasn't sure the best place to post this so here it goes.

I took my daughter to the park today (we live close by). And I spotted a woman walking in who looked a lot like Tamerlan Tsarnaev's widow (her face from the press pics is very recognizable). Plus, I read recently that she had relocated to North Bergen to live with her in-laws so seeing her in Hamilton Park was not a complete and utter shock....but close.

Well, it made me uncomfortable seeing her here; let's just leave it at that. I'd feel the same way if Timothy McVeigh's widow show up in Hamilton Park, too.

Her likeness caused me to look up the pics again from the press articles (which I did while I was there). You are right about one thing though, it's not her that I'd be concerned about.
