You didn't know? He's a Rock Star from Saigon!

I agree with the other posters - get a cut from Ken or Wen(Nguyen) and you won't be disappointed.

Our whole household gets haircuts/coloring there

I got my second hair cut by Anna today, and thought she was great. I've been going there a few years now, and have had my hair cut by almost all of the stylists, and I've never been disappointed.

I'm another happy and loyal customer of Studio 17. Though to be honest, I only let my hair done by Nguyen /Wynn or Ken (the owners), and not by any of their other stylists. Although the salon takes walk-ins, I would recommend making an appointment with either of them to make sure you don't get shuffled off to the other stylists.

I have been to Ken about five times and I've been very pleased each time. Seems like there are mixed reviews of the salon here. Sometimes you just have to take a chance on a stylist and see if that person works well for you. There are no guarantees with hair cuts. Ken was recommended to me by two people whose hair I really like so I gave him a try, and I'm really glad I did.

I went there a few times on the recommendation of a friend. The first couple of times, I got a really nice cut. After that, the hairdresser just stopped listening to me. One bad cut - an anomaly. Two in a row - forget it.

I got an awful haircut months ago and refuse to ever go back. I don't even want to go through the whole story, but let's say when one is having a consult they should NOT be talking to their friend and a client shouldn't ask for "focus"!

Got the worst haircut of my life there the other day. I used to think women made too much of a haircut they didn't like .... you know .... 'it will grow back, it's fine, don't worry about it' .... Well that was before this haircut happened to me. Now I know the feeling.

I asked for a 3 inch trim, I got a 6-8 inch random, indiscriminate hatchet job. Basically, it looks like a blind person with garden shears went at it. Anna was the stylist who did it.

I certainly can't go to work with my hair like this, I will have to keep it pinned and tied back until it grows in some and I can get it cut again and try to fix it.

Winn's great, I recommend her as well. I walked in and despite me getting there close to closing time, she still put a lot of care and time into my hair.

my husband went there a couple years ago and was basically dry humped in the chair. The guy cutting his hair was rubbing himself all over my husband. So for a man who HATES going to get haircuts and would rather cut it himself with clippers, this made him never go out to get a professional haircut again... so thanks dry humping guy.

I've been twice now and had my hair cut by Winn. She did a great job both times and I'll definitely be going back.

I went a couple months ago and got a terrific haircut from Anna. The long layers and bangs looked great instantly (instead of some haircuts where you have to wait a bit) and it stills looks goods as it's growing in. Highly recommended in my opinion. And affordable ... I think it cost around $40.

I have been going there for a few years now, Ken, Winn's brother, has been my stylist. I get a cut and coloring/highlights each time. I have never been disappointed.
