you can call Jersey City Animal Hospital the number is
(201) 435-6424. They are closed but the service will help you find someplace to go or contact the Vet on call for you. Good Luck!

I had both of my kids at Hackensack University Medical Center and I agree that it is an amazing place to deliver. What other hospital do you know of that lets you order meals off a menu like room service!

Court For JC Speeding Ticket?
#4

I have a court date tomorrow for a JC speeding ticket and I am wonering what other people's experiences have been at municipal court. I know that each case is different but wondering how the process works and if anyone has ever done a plea bargain. I don't think that I have ever been in a court house before so it is more what to expect than legal advice that I am looking for.

Mugging at corner of Varick and York
#5

A woman was mugged yesterday at aroud 6:15pm (yes, broad daylight with lots of onlookers) at the corner of York and Varick. Two boys about 15 came up behind her and slammed her head into the sidewalk grabbed her bag and ran. If you live in the area please be careful.

This comes after two weeks of vandalism in the same area lots of broken car wondows with nothing stolen from the cars and random spray painting of cars. Is there anyway to beef up patrols of the blocks of bright/monmouth/york/varick/jersey?

Re: Please Stop Cutting Down Trees in JC

The division of parks and forestry has been by to look at seveal of the large trees on my block in the last two weeks. I asked what was up and was told that they think that the trees are infested with the Asian Longhorned Beetle and will have to be cut down. This could be why some of the other trees are being cut down.

Baby Einstein Learning Center?

Considering enrolling my son at the Baby Einstein Learning Center in the heights and would like feedback from anyone who had had any experinces with them. It seems awesome just wanting to make sure that it is not too good to be true. Especially since the price that I was quoted is almost as much as the River School.

Re: Ideas to discourage gang activity?

Thank you everyone for all for your helpful and not so helpful posts to my original question. In response to the discussion of the white t-shirts =gang. I realize that it does not mean that they are part of a gang I was trying to make a loose discription of urban youth. And yes I have see them engage in drug sales which is why I am concerned.

Ideas to discourage gang activity?
#10

Recently there has begun to be a large group of young men in long white t-shirts who hang out on the corner across from my building. Trust me they are not up to any good. Have called JCPD non-emergency number a few times to report possible gang and or drug activity and have gotten little if any response. Wondering if anyone has any ideas or can help me find the right political route to go to address this issue.
