I mixed up his job with his role as commissioner. He used to be a Code Inspector for Hudson County Improvement Authority. I believe he did step down from that job once elected to the council. He is one of the Commissioners for JCIA. I don't see why he should get a vehicle out of that.

Didn't Councilman Fulop speak against this? I don't blame Chico for having a county job, but Fulop placed him on his ticket, so Fulop broke his own promise of clean government.

Read through this. Look at the list of jobs held by North Bergen Mayor and Hudson County pol Sacco family members and friends. Were these all advertised? Were all the people hired because of their job experience and merit, rather than personal connections? It's shocking the money involved-besides the salaries, consider the benefits and pension implications.

"Ramchal told The Jersey Journal last week that he was driving the JCIA SUV on March 14 because his personal vehicle was having "mechanical issues" and there were no city cars available. He said he had been driving the JCIA car for about three months."
I just love that last paragraph in the previous story. Your personal vehicle couldn't be fixed for three months? Time to get a new car, idiot. Oh, silly me, that's money coming out of your own and not the taxpayers' pockets. Excuse me while I slap myself.

Isn't this a typical government bureaucrat response to a problem of select city employees abusing their positions of power and putting the public at risk... I am sure this action will keep city employees from driving drunk in city vehicles. Chico's defense will be that the blue, red and white lights made him drive drunk.
