Not reinstating the ambassadors is tantamount to firing them. Asking Flynn to resign is tantamount to firing him.

Trump is playing everyone as a fool - Trump didn't ban muslims, he banned people from certain countries from entering the US as does many other nations that put bans of citizens from certain countries.
Also the crap I'm hearing about Trump sacking all the Ambassadors ... what crap, the Ambassadors all have to file their resignations when there is a new President with the new President having the option to re-instate them. Trump really is full of siht.

Comrades, it didn't take long...
Trump has a Russia problem (like I've been saying for months)...and that's not all. The administration is in turmoil. Approval rating in the toilet. American's are learning just how mentally disturbed Trump is. What's next...you're fired? Trump's impeachment talk now has teeth | Moran By Tom Moran Posted on February 15, 2017 at 10:15 AM For now, put aside the blundering and bigotry at the borders, the daily diet of lies, the billionaire president's financial secrets and conflicts of interest, and even the scary signs that the leader of the free world is a mentally unstable man. Put that all aside for today. Because the Russians interfered in our presidential election, and now we learn that Russian intelligence agents had extensive contacts with Team Trump during the campaign, while they were cheating on his behalf. We need every shred of information about those contacts - with a special focus on what President Trump knew and when. For those who see his impeachment as America's best hope to survive this dangerous moment, it is time to inch up to the edge of your seats and get ready to protest. If Congress doesn't put together an investigation that is credible and tough, and bipartisan in spirt, then it's time to get back to the streets in force, and to plan a campaign of civil disobedience. The resignation of Michael Flynn, the national security advisor, after less than a month in office does not end this matter. It should be regarded as a starting gun, a moment when the lid is pulled off a barrel of snakes that now must be untangled and sorted. Let's start with the least offensive piece of this, and work our way up to the most outrageous. Flynn may have broken a 1799 law that prohibits private players from meddling in the conduct of America's foreign policy. That came about six weeks after the election when President Obama imposed sanctions on Russia over its meddling, and Flynn signaled to the Russian ambassador that the Trump administration might lift them. No doubt, that explains why Vladimir Putin didn't retaliate. It's routine, and useful, for senior appointees of an incoming administration to make contact with foreign leaders during the transition. That's why the anachronistic 1799 Logan Act has never been used. But why would Flynn signal that Russian meddling in our election would go unpunished? When a hostile power sends an army across our border, we go to war. Why look the other way when a hostile power attacks the integrity of our democracy? Flynn then lied about it, saying he didn't discuss sanctions. And that lie was repeated by Vice President Mike Pence and other senior members of the Trump team. So add misleading the American public to the list of sins. And was Flynn the only liar, or did others know? It gets worse. Flynn's lie was discovered by American intelligence, reportedly through electronic monitoring of the Russian ambassador's phone. The Justice Department informed the White House, and yet nothing was done. The FBI had concluded that the lie made Flynn vulnerable to Russian blackmail, yet he continued to manage the nation's security for weeks, and even sat in during President Trump's phone call with Vladimir Putin. more @ http://www.nj.com/opinion/index.ssf/2 ... tml#incart_river_home_pop

Obama had a two year window and passed healthcare reform. His administration deported more illegals than any previous one but he didn't make a show of it like Trump has.

Of course-a direct result of the losses the Democrats have taken since Obama was elected. The reason I mentioned is that while Obama had the hammer in his hands he squandered it. He could've taken care of immigration, Gitmo, (he even put in new ethics guidelines on lobbyists-guess the Sec of State was exempt), he backed UN 'declaration on gender identity', and put in such A listers as Rahm as Chief of Staff (later to show his talents in ruining Chiraq), Susan Rice (the Benghazi liar), et al.

Nonsense. Obama had the Congress he wanted, and did nothing on immigration reform (which was his job 1 goal), tax reform, jobs creation-he went into SJW mode, and never left it for 8 years. His obsession with 'progressive' ideology led to Hillary getting sent home.

I think we can all agree that Obama 1.0 got off to a much better start than Trump's start.

Now who's being foolish? You can't seriously compare what Flynn did to what Holder did. By the way how is what Flynn did any different then what Hillary does/did. There is a reason the Clinton fund has been shut down.

No, he changed the story he gave to VP Pence and then was canned. In high contrast to Holder, Lynch, Rice, the IRS gal-all lied and kept their jobs (the IRS gal walked, but kept her pension).

Being told of a possibility isn't the same as knowing for weeks. But once they got to the bottom of it, he's gone.
Unlike Holder, the IRS gal, Lynch, Susan Rice . . . but getting rid of someone after 3 weeks is great, the crooked lying Obama appointees hung on for longer or never were canned. This is how you drain the swamp!

'R and R' was with the Japanese Premier . . . as far as the advisor-guess what, when the POTUS found out he was made to walk the plank. Unlike, say, Obama with Holder 'fast n furious', or Lynch 'let's meet the husband of someone under investigation for lunch in a clandestine meeting' or, well, you know.

Trump does lazy photo ops and then it's off to Florida for some Rn'R. Apparently his "stamina" ain't so great. Obviously needs to put some effort into finding a National Security Advisor.
