Anybody have the over/under on how many rounds of golf the President will play in between signing off on presidential pardons. Apparently he set a record yesterday.

I imagine there are some big names in the stack. In typical fashion, we can expect to the DOJ release the list of names on Christmas Eve.

With the media frenzy to build up a fake news story of an electoral college upset, you would think some NYT scribe would be following this real story.

Go talk to rock formations in New Mexico like Lana Dunham. If someone had any doubts that liberals are seriously unhinged, this election provided the proof in spades. Pass the tissues!

How about that for a plot twist? Ha!

(Very interesting article - BTW, the votes won't be counted by the House and Senate until 1/6/2017)

The Electoral College Meets Monday. Here?s What to Expect.
By EMMARIE HUETTEMAN/NYT DEC. 18, 2016

WASHINGTON ? On Monday, 538 people will meet to determine who will be the next president.

These meetings of the Electoral College, convened in every state and the District of Columbia just shy of six weeks after Election Day, have long been little more than a formality.

But the victory of President-elect Donald J. Trump, who lost the popular vote but is projected to win the most electoral votes, has thrust the Electoral College into the spotlight once more. The conclusion of American intelligence agencies that Russia tried to intervene in the election to harm Hillary Clinton?s campaign has only intensified the focus in recent days.

President Obama on Friday described the Electoral College ? originally a compromise between those who wanted Congress to choose the president and those who favored a popular vote ? as a ? vestige.? As electors gather in state capitols across the country, here is a rundown of what comes next:

Absolutely right... all that money was supposed to prove that the government public works projects build new infrastructure and put people back to work. The problem was they took a spending program from FDR 1930s when the job force was mainly blue color labor and applied it to an out of work 21st Century labor pool that was proportionally more white collar.

Finance / sales / technology college educated types do not swing pick axes or pour cement. And the money went to plug holes in state budgets.

Read the facts on NAFTA dumb ass. Started under Bush, voted in by more Republicans than Democrats. ACA was passed by Democrat majority.

Six years after that vote... the full law was never implemented and it is crashing and burning as predicated by most honest economist and budget forecasts.

So did you vote for Hillary's Public Face..... or her Private Face?

Yeah, NAFTA was a Republican Bill. Sure, Clinton signed it but the responsibility goes across the aisle and the Republicans run away from their majority support for it. Chicken shits.

I like Michelle Obama muy mucho, but if she wanted to give people hope she should have told her husband to stop pushing trade those idiotic trade deals. Despite the rhetoric, those deals with poor countries do hurt American workers although automation is a bigger long term threat. The ones benefitting mightily are the big us corporations. us jobs are exported and workers in the other countries still get next to zilch; trump likes to criticize China, but perhaps he should visit Philippines, Bangladesh or Ethiopia.
Any guesses as to how many months before scumbag announces an improvement on those trade deals? Will Bernie Sanders be sitting in the White House in 2021?

And what will they do with so much control? Seems they are obsessed with women and their wombs. People voted on jobs and the economy and the Republicans are just going back to their old nonsense which people are obviously sick of. The middle-class and those whose jobs are now obsolete voted on a false promise and the rich dudes in the G.O.P. are just going to concentrate on their own bullshit. Trickle down is back and it will do nothing. In two years the G.O.P. will swing from the gallows.

Extreme partisans like you have been predicting the downfall of the GOP for years now. And your predictions have proven embarrassingly wrong at every turn.

In fact, nationally, the Democrats are the weakest in decades. And they have no bench to speak of. Dark times ahead for you guys, especially after Trump does great.

HA-HA!! Kanye West and Bill Gates!! All walks of life. He needs to keep going to rallies, his only "safe space". By the way, we're not feeling hopeless, we are energized and we're gonna make life hell for Trump. We aren't the ones who will have to keep making excuses. This whole situation is "unpresidented"!!
