The irony here is when she legally came through JFK Customs, She did not expect a free hand out. She did not file for welfare, S.S. free housing, medical, college education, demand the right to vote or unemployment. She also did not over stay her visa and fly planes into buildings or get knocked up and become a burden to U.S. taxpayers.

She actually had a job and paid taxes for that 7 week window when she was waiting for her green card. She waited her turn and became a productive citizen.
