My point is that the time the "mole" post was created (on Friday), it would not have been inconceivable for the US to have known about it before Ergodan.

Being involved and instigating insurrection certainly plays a role in whether or not you are knowledgeable of the forthcoming event. Considering the size of the force that began the coup, I don't see why it would be a given that we *should* have known. Alternatively, it is possible that we knew about it and did not alert the general public or declare to the Turkish government that we knew about it in order to preserve relations.

In the meantime, the RNC has decided that Russia's aggression in Ukraine, something that McCain and Palin considered reprehensible, is no longer part of the platform. Paul Maniford, through Trump, has decided that it is perfectly acceptable for Russia to push for property in Europe.

But, yeah, the big problems are Hillary's email server or Benghazi...

Incorrect, Article 5 of NATO says we are only obligated to aid Turkey if they are attacked, not if they are the aggressor.
