Gregory Aker, 47, who faces both state and federal charges, was an assistant scoutmaster for the Clark Knights of Columbus Troop 310, according to a newsletter from Boy Scouts Munsee District serving eastern Union County. Dennis Kohl, executive for Boy Scouts Patriots Path Council, of which Troop 310 is a member, said Aker was dismissed from the scouts as soon as the council was informed his arrest by Linden police. Aker was also a Cub Scouts den leader, according to the newsletter, and had served as district vice chairman and interim chairman. Additionally, Aker had been a volunteer religion instructor at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in Linden up until last year, a spokesman for the Dioceses of Newark confirmed. On Wednesday, U.S. District Attorney Paul Fishman announced that Aker was charged with possession of child pornography after investigators searched his home and found he had 1,240 pictures of child pornography and 34 video stored on computers and other electronic devices. The pictures and videos were discovered in a search of Aker's home, which was conducted after Linden police arrested on Feb. 2014 on charges of sexually assaulting to youths. Linden police confirmed that Aker was arrested in February 2014 and charged with two counts each of sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a minor. He was arrested after police went to Aker's home that day in response to a domestic incident between Aker and his wife, police said. No information was immediately available as to why the federal charges were filed this week, more than a year after the arrest. On Thursday, the Patriot's Path Council, of which Troop 310 is a member, issued a statement regarding Aker, sending sympathies to victims of abuse and condemning child abuse. "Any instance of child victimization or abuse is intolerable and unacceptable. Scouting extends its deepest sympathies to all victims of abuse and their families. Youth protection is of paramount importance to the Boy Scouts of America," the council said in the statement. Let's not forget the flip side. What about the women, who were born as biological women, that are now being harassed by the self appointed "bathroom police" because they were mistaken for a man? I bet the "bathroom police" must feel great about themselves for f'ing that up.

No one was telling these people to be scared of transgender people before. No one was telling them that they should be throwing people out of bathrooms,? Toms said. ?As if it wasn?t scary enough for transgender people to use the bathroom before.? Trans people were doing this already and no one noticed, made a fuss, or confronted people. Now we have a bunch of self righteous nannies that think they know better than everyone else.

Why wouldn't the purse stealing criminal do that regardless of a city/state/company/organization's transgender bathroom laws? There's no sign labeled "don't steal purses" which makes it ok to them, but the sign saying "women" on the door keeps them out?

I do feel sorry for you hero, you just swallowed the culture of lies. You rarely hear stories about men entering women's spaces in the past (bathrooms, dressing room) because they were stopped and arrested. Now it is different. As an example, a man dressed as a man entered Ross Department store. The woman who reported this was deeply shaken. I am sure he was looking for victims.

A man went to Newport Mall this weekend, but it evidently wasn't to shop. At about 7:30 p.m., police met with a JC Penney manager who said multiple customers complained that a man may have been "pleasuring himself" inside the men's room. The manager told police that when he went inside the restroom, he saw a man standing at a urinal with his "arm moving in a repetitive motion." The suspect did not say anything to the manager and left the store, according to the report. Oh the children!!!!!
