This is a fascinating map and great concept. Would also love to see a map showing country of origin for immigrants.
Unfortunately, xenophobes will probably misuse this map at city-data and other places to promote racial segregation.

I guess everyone here missed this little footnote at the end of the article:
Notes about this map: The map below does not show the exact locations of every single person in New Jersey. Since the dots are randomly scattered over small areas, it may appear that some people are living in cemeteries or small lakes. To our knowledge, this is not the case.

Interesting things of note. To the surprise of no one who's been there ever in the past few years, the waterfront is definitely Little Asia. What's left of the large hispanic areas have been reduced to mostly pockets around Villa Borinquen, columbus ave and the row houses along montgomery.
Hoboken. Lol. That border of Bayonne and JC. also lol. Getting into specifics, what's with the cluster of white people on west side ave and stegman? That green blob on the houses/projects just west of the highway on the north side of montgomery... that seems incorrect, at least from every time i've been in the neighborhood. Definitely an old Philippino hood, but 90%+ seems way wrong. I see a blue dot down in bergen lafayette. Hi, user111!
