hey cory - we're posting a few menu "drafts" on facebook, but depending on what's available at the market that day, we probably won't have anything definite until the day before!
we will be updating menus on fb, twits, and tumblr as we change them and probably post daily changes. keep checking in to see what's going on. a

Anyone know what song plays in their neat little video? Also, will this place be affordable? In a month or two, I am organizing a birthday party....if this place is solid...then I rather not go into the city for it.

"local ingredients, seasonal menu" is what they are going for. If the quality and menu are anything close to Momofuku we will be blessed. Check out their menus, it's not really "asian", more like variations on asian combinations. (Just had the roast duck ssam at momofuku ssam... so good)

I love Asian food more than most people, but there are five upscale Asian restaurants within a five block radius and various other ones in delivery range. What would be great is some variety, local ingredients, seasonal menu. Marco and Pepe has a similar concept and does very well for many years now. Of course, just a suggestion.

I'm pretty happy that Esperanto's is gone but what exactly is Thirty Acres. Their Facebook page is full of posts and every single one of them is vague. "Food we like" ??? What does that mean. Not even a mention of the style of food.

Reached out to them on Twitter (@thirtyacres) as to what kind of restaurant they will be and heard back today:
"We're going to try our best to serve NJ products. from produce to fish to meat to beer and more...also working on liq. lic. probably going to be fish-forward menu, but also some homemade pastas, a pretty fun brunch situation. gonna be 35-40 seats."
