Just can't stay away
|
Has anyone seen the tentacles coming from that construction above chili's on Washington St. 2 days ago during high wind? Cops closed of the road one day last week during high wind. There is always crap flying off that building. Now that is negligence waiting to kill someone.

Its not an accident - its negligence ... highrise buildings have been built for over 60 years and there are strict guidelines to mitigate such things - The payout and compensation to the woman's family will be high as will the penalty ... it should be a manslaughter charge as should when you kill someone in a car and it was your fault

Not too long ago, there was a freak accident whereby a worker got hit on the head from a falling a tape measure (or something like that) at the new construction by Grove St PATH stn (Marin Blvd side).

Although this did not take place in Jersey City, I think it is applicable to us because of all the new construction going on. Also many of us probably travel to Manhattan on a regular basis.
