PATH fare increases with continued miserable rides on weekend trains. It was friggin jammed packed and people had their backpacks on... stupid morons everywhere.

To lose any cultural institution is a sad reality, but I don?t recall the museum to hold anything that interesting (to me). Even the contemporary art was mediocre. But, I?m not an artist and don?t really know much about art appreciation.

I agree. I?ve tried to join in the past but no response. It?s probably a staged PR exercise to show that ?they are listening? to their constituents but in reality, they just move forward with their own agenda.

Whilst driving home around 8 pm tonight along Montgomery, several men at different points crossed the DARK road (and not at a traffic light). Very dangerous. Be careful out there!

the ?lift? is always breaking downthere... i don?t need it but i?m tired of seeing all their updates about the lift not working at Grove St.

Also, the weekend closures to WTC really suck. Why can?t they run direct trains to 33rd on weekends??

All talk. Sounds like the same BS PATH has been putting out for years. How about running more trains during non rush hour times and weekends? 20 minute intervals between trains on the weekends while WTC is shutdown? Who's bright idea is this one? I see people being left behind in Hoboken because there is absolutely no room on the train. PATHetic.

Sadly, i agree that this is all talk. I bet she has not ridden the PATH on weekends.

The weekend service via HOB is horrendous. What is the rationale for this??? Can we just have direct service? The train is already crowded at Grove.

I agree... it is unfortunate that they don?t seem interested in appleaing to the dinner crowd.

I was really excited about this until I realized it is targeted at the daytime work crowd and will only open during weekdays and closing at 7 PM.

Food halls have been a hot trend all over major European cities for years now, and most have hours that run into the late evening (at least 9 PM) and court everyone, not just a work, daytime crowd. I am really surprised Mack-Cali does not see the potential of such a concept to thrive at night (and, weekends!) by courting a large demographic.

Why does a toll plaza canopy need to be replaced. Isn?t it superfluous? In fact, haven?t they extracted enough tolls already to pay for the bloody turnpike?

I believe Battello is planning to re-open this year per jersey city upfront (apparently, they are hiring now). I am disappointed about Wild Fusion. They did open for a few days in mid December. I asked the front cashier and she said they have a new menu (they do). I was so excited about the casserole dishes... however, when i had a craving a few days later, the restaurant was closed. They were also closed over Christmas and New Year?s I believe - which was odd for a Chinese restaurant. I walked by today and they indicated they will reopen on January 13th. We?ll see.

I thought their dimsum was passable and saved me the trip to Chinatown.

I think the countdown clock would be useful at street level to avoid going into the pit of hell on a hot summer?s day. Also, the title of this thread is misleading as it won?t happen until 2022. Who knows how many more bodies will be crammed into Grove St station at that time.

You can?t please everyone. It was only a difference of an hour or so. Why does everyone have to be hypercritical? Plus, what are parents thinking by bringing their kids to a concert blasting music so loud?

I think Fulop should be accountable to the people of Jersey City and do what is best for the development of the area. If it means moving a statue, i am ok with it. I am surprised at the comments directed against him - especially from those who do not even live in jersey city!

It is a gruesome, but I am used to it now. If I had my choice, I?d rather not see it. Though, it might be better to put it to a vote. How many people in jersey city are of polish ancestry? Is the statue still relevant?

Sad this happened. I always see cars rushing that intersection. It is safer to cross using the PATH underpass. Wish the Marin street entrance had an underpass, but I think the planners were short sighted.

The food at Latham House is good but i always hate where i had to sit in the middle of the room near the front door. Felt like an odd location.

Anyhow, Park and Sixth always offered nice comfort food. Will miss them for sure.
