Not sure I agree. He's not offering to edit anyone's memoirs. If he can provide references and is properly insured his skills are in demand, and JCList has served as a needed marketplace.

Posts like what this guy does are why this site needs a "report post" option.

Yes, among other permits that may be required depending on scope would be a demolition permit.

Hi, we are looking for either a contractor or experienced handyman team to tear out several walls, ceilings, all floors, a bathroom and a kitchen etc from our downtown JC home. We will also need skim coating and drywall replacement.

Thanks for any recommendations !

Also do we need a permit for tear outs? We are getting mixed answers on that question.

Hi,
I've gotten several recommendations from this site. Thank you to those passing on my name. I have just launched a website, so please check it out. Happy to estimate all jobs.

I am looking for someone to tear down old drywall, install a vapor barrier and replace/tape sheet rock in the kitchen. Can someone make a recommendation?

Thanks.

Stephanie

We have to replace our dry wall and pretty much everything except the studs in our basement (thanks flood 2010!) for the bottom part of the wall. Any additional recommendations of contractors for a job like that. Thanks!

I need to have a bit of drywall work done to repair damage from a leak in my living room. Can anyone recommend someone who does good work for a reasonable price?
