The sitting president cannot control the supply and demand of oil. That's controlled by the global market and capitalism. We still have tons of oil in reserve but that don't mean squat if the CEOs can't get their bonuses. Why are you so against capitalism? If the market says you have to pay $4, then do as it says unless you are a commie.

Pretty funny - "China is more capitalist..." sure - with a gun pointed at your head by Xi.

The only reason the market says to pay $4 is due to the Dumbocrats policies - the market is just doing at they say.

You may be a little confused about whom you're referring to as commies.
Joe Biden has asked Vladimir Putin to sell us more fuel, thereby enriching Russia. Sounds like he's a fellow traveler to me. Kind of like Hilary giving them all the uranium when she was still in office. What will they do with this money Biden is handing them? We'll probably borrow the money from China too, draining us a little bit more.

As to the supply and demand issue, as little as less than a year ago the USA was pretty much energy dependent; supply was there for the demand. Trump was loading up our reserves when oil hit rock bottom prices. Biden and the green gang mean to break people and force them to beg for alternate energy sources that are years away.

Gas pump prices are hurting people pretty terribly already.
The projection for home fuel is slated to increase fifty-four percent for this winter season while America has hundreds of years of natural gas reserves within our boundaries.

Commies? I don't think so. Realists yes.

I'm guessing you watch CNN and the other left leaning networks for your "news". Try some alternative news sources or pick up a book y'all.

Joe Biden suspended the drilling of oil and gas on public lands. That impacted the price of that we pay at the pump and stores. Everything in the stores comes in from trucks that uses gas. We were energy independent under Trump.

This is a historical of gas prices going back to 1993. Presidents should neither get credit nor blame for gas prices. OPEC has been manipulating prices since I was in diapers. Our (US) output of oil shale worked to stabilize prices, then OPEC flooded the market to bring the PPB low enough to discourage US shale production.

This BS about who the President is affecting your gas prices, local taxes, your kid's acne... and I couldn't give a shit about Biden.

Yet Joe Biden had no problem with with Russia having their pipeline. By the way, the US gas is cleaner than the gas from Russia but we cannot use US gas thanks to Joe. So when was gas two bucks under Obama?

Obama was smart enough to understand that the price of gas or a gallon of milk are things that hit all voters and brings out the non-voters. Presidential policies make a difference stated and unstated... see the SW Border debacle.

Well, we're certainly seeing change at the gas pumps.

Under Trump we were exporting gas. Biden is begging the Saudis to sell us more.

Get ready for your property tax and rent changes too.

Hudson County voters, act in kind and turn your backs on Murphy | Jersey Journal non-endorsement

Hudson County voters should skip the top of the ballot this election and send a loud, clear message to Gov. Phil Murphy that his silence on the proposed Liberty State Park Protection Act is unacceptable.

Murphy apparently thinks the Democratic stronghold on the Hudson is a given – or, worse, inconsequential to his pursuit of a second term.

How else can you explain his refusal to endorse a piece of legislation that would protect one of the few green spots on the Hudson County map?

Send this to every NJ voter you know who still has some semblance of sanity. Even if you are vaccinated and believe its the right thing, deceitful, intrusive and coercive governmental overreach must be resisted. Like Governor Newsome in California, if he retains the governor's office he will double down and NJ will be worse than California.

Republicans will be lucky to survive the next 2 years in any level. They all seems to be still stuck on Trump's ass or whatever smelly hole he's spewing crap out of.

Tyranny? Don't you have a Jan 6 reunion to attend?

Jan 6? Try every night in Portland. There is no difference. Try spending a night in walgreens in san fran. No one is stopping you from opening up your checkbook to support your pet projects. Stop spending other peoples money. $15 an hr. Thats a good one. No one is taking those jobs now when you can get paid $20 an hr to sit home

There is still rent subsidies and people are not required to pay their student loans yet. Plus there is money available for having a kid, $300 a month for under 6 years old and $250 for under 18. Then there is food stamps. If you live with someone who has a job, then you can get by with all of these programs.

It will be interesting if Nj swings Republican... Not sure how they thought having Biden in town will help Murphy. Even democrats know what a mess Biden-Harris have made of things nationally... people might vote against Murphy just for that reason alone.

The papers protect Murphy's spending. Christie last budget was $34.7 billion. That was a short 4 years ago. Murphy's budget is $46.4 billion. Between the spending of Murphy and Biden, the US is heading for a financial crisis.

Credible reports say that Murphy will impose vaccine mandates on New Jersey after the election. Since NJ seems always in competition with California to be the worst state in the union, I suspect we can expect mandates for public employees, probably private employers. Will he also require these "leaky vaccines" that do not work and have proven dangerous side effects to be jabbed into all school children- public, private and parochial? Probably! How could power be such an aphrodisiac to cause a man to destroy our liberty and threaten our health all while everyone says like sheep- "he's keeping us safe."

And since the Democratic machine has been harvesting votes for the last month, is there any doubt who is going to win? Does not help, of course, that the GOP put up a sort of Murphy lite as a candidate- though a much more likeable and normal guy.
