Colin Powell's family announced his death and according to his family he had the vaccine. If the administration put their effort on therapeutics, more lives would be save. India is not a rich country and cannot afford the vaccine, they are using ivermectin and their death rates is lower than the US.

Before covid-19 became the boogey man, around 50,000 people each year died from the typical flu and it is the typical person who is elderly or those with compromised immune problems but life went on. People under 50 should live their lives and those over 50 should be cautious.

The problem is that this virus was man made and frankly the world in is the middle of a laboratory study. A virus created by nature tends to have a shelf life before it finally die a natural death, even the deviants.
The lab that created this virus did so in a way to weaponize it and designed it (and strains) to be resilient to traditional treatments like vaccines. I reading they are looking at DNA therapies for prevention. Quote:

One author is a GP, trained in upstate NY boarded at Lenox Hill. Not sure the other. I read it quickly and when I came to the part where it said that the Pandemic of 1918 was really a vaccine pandemic, I thought that was absurd and that the entire papers was, therefore, suspect.
Low and behold, it turns out that mainstream history actually mentions the vaccine conspiracy theory for 1918! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2862332/ The world just keeps getting more and more weird.

I am not against anyone getting a vaccine, I am against the government forcing people getting the vaccine. Nurses worked during the covid incident last year. They caught the disease and have natural immunity. I am against hospitals firing them for not getting the vaccine.
When my children caught illness like the measles, I did not catch it because I already had that illness. Natural immunity works. It is the hypocrisy, US citizens cannot fly without the vaccine but the border is open to people who are not tested and 20% of them have covid, they are placed all over this country.

If you did ever decide to get vaccinated, I would tell you to forget about the J&J vaccine. It's the least protective of the ones available.
