I can't believe it.
I'm at a bar right now, and a guy with a beard wearing skinny jeans sits down and orders a PBR. I swear he looks very similar to the photos on NJ.com. He caught me staring and we just finished an odd conversation. It's probably not him but unfucking believable if it is. Has a reward like been setup yet?? Lol. I'm near Newark Penn by the way.

I'm so happy they got this hipster on tape. Shame him! Just goes to show the types of losers taking up the #jctakeitback call to arms. I hope he's sued by the developer to recover all damages and inconveniences he caused (not sure if he would have the money for a payout, but his parents probably do).

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man seen in new security footage spray painting "GO HOME YUPPIE SCUM!" on a new residential building next to City Hall. Eric and Paul Silverman, the developers behind the new building, Charles & Co., released photos of the man, who tagged the Grove Street building on June 13. The alleged vandal is a white male with a thin build, dark hair and a beard. He was caught on video footage tagging the Montgomery Street side of Charles & Co. at about 5 a.m. that Saturday. The graffiti was gone by noon, and the Silvermans estimate the damage to be in excess of $2,750. In the footage, he is dressed in business casual clothing, including a blazer and a tie. He is wearing sunglasses. If anyone has any information about the identity of the man seen in the pictures, contact Jersey City police at 201-547-5066 or 201-589-3934. If you wish to remain anonymous, call 201-547-JAIL (5245). The reference file number is 13543-14. "So many neighbors contacted us to express their appreciation for all we do for all of Jersey City," Paul Silverman said in an email. "I was encouraged by the tremendous support of the neighborhood." The graffiti was found the same week Downtown Jersey City residents debated a new, anti-gentrification campaign that used "go home yuppie scum" as one of its slogans. Terrence T.
