NBC TV coverage just sucks. They have the TV contract until 2020.

Men's hockey tournament just started. NBC's TV Coverage is complete garbage, but you can watch live on nbc.com, or on your tablet or phone. I've been watching some of the Czech Republic v Sweden game today on my phone, the clarity is great and there are minimal ads. And you get your pick of what to watch, since there are a bunch of events going on at the same time.

Some of the women curlers are hot! (And if you like curling, NJ's only curling club is located in South Plainfield off RT287 and has open houses when for a fee you can get in a few 'ends').

I may at some point get interested in this event, but so far it's a yawn. I forget that it is even taking place most of the time and the rest, I just don't worry about. It doesn't help that Russia is arrested people protesting for gay rights...

Thoughts on the games:
Team US sweaters: good or bad?
That US ice dancing couple is crazy looking.
I don't think I can handle watching Bode Miller compete again.
NBC better air some curling action.
Can Shaun White pull it off?

I absolutely loved the show despite one or two technical problems.

Was little Elizabetta amazing or what.

I completely agree! The boats and waves that they simulated were awesome! I felt bad about the 5th ring. Apparently they used rehearsal footage when they saw that happen for their Russian TV audience.

I really liked those 3-D images they created on the stadium floor
