I spoke to the officers making the arrest last evening. They said the culprit rented the car and had not returned it since May. In this instance it was not a car jacking.

I would hypothesize that if you placed bait cars or bikes in known drug neighborhoods, the police would get ass-wipes of the streets that not only steal, but are also involved with drugs - this would be like hitting 2 birds with the 1 stone and when arrested and imprisoned, the general crime in the area would be reduced also.

Anyone know what's going on right now on West Hamilton?
4 cops from 3 different directions descended on a car at West Hamilton and Pavonia. I saw one guy get arrested. Most excitement I've seen around here in a while.
