How dare you suggest that there are dishonest realtors!! I've never encountered one of those!

Like Lawyers and Bankers right Icechute, you Jack Ass! What do you do for a living that makes you so high and mighty? I treat my customers like gold and build relationships for years. I make life easier for my clients and find them what they are looking for. No lying needed, they make the decisions and I know the market! There is nothing better than a great Realtor to guide buyers, renters and sellers through the process. But a know it all like yourself will never get it!

Real Estate school?
Since when does one need to go to school to learn to lie and exaggerate?

There is also the Meadowlands School of Real Estate in Secaucus. They offer day and evening classes. These are held in both their classroom in Secaucus and at Hoboken High School.

The Weichert course is excellent to get started. Obviously, it will depend on your teacher, but they do know what they are doing in regards to getting started. And I wonder if the department of "Baking and Insurance" guarantees good cakes?

I took a course through Weichert about 5 years ago. It cost a few hundred dollars (I think) and was held in a building very close to the Hoboken PATH station. They offered day, evening and weekend classes. Once I passed the NJ state exam I also took and passed the NY one to have more options.

On the nj department of baking and insurance under the real estate section it says public real estate schools are free for the initial salesperson license. Where are these schools??? If they don't exsist, can anyone recommend a good real estate school in the JC area? I need the initial 75 hour course and to take the initial sales person test. Thanks.
